5/10i think this restaurant has a real potential but : our starters came in the meantime of mains; food was not so good even we can notice that they were putting efforts on that for example, on the jerk salmon there was still the skin and plantain banana were not cooked properly; also, no desert but we were on Friday night and not late; also fee other customers were having issues and we saw that the restaurant team was not really nice with them.

The restaurant was very quiet at 6pm and told we couldn’t sit at booth as for four but eventually they agreeed ! Barman greets you with a stern face never smiles. I wanted a selection of starters and sides but told if I wanted a main had to be ordered at same time and cannot be added later !!! The food average very greasy dumplings, the Mac cheese was tasteless and didn’t know it was deep fried ! We booked through Fork app but they said they didn’t know and offer is old one but the Fork automatically notifies the restaurant when booking is made ! Eventually sorted out the bill where a 12.5% service charge added !

10/10had another lovely evening at ma petite jamacia, food was good and spicy and cocktails went down far too quickly! only comment was didnt realise we only had an hour.. asked for another drink and was told the table was needed. no matter we went next door and had another drink.

5.5/10Service was good, the staff were very friendly although sometimes difficult to get their attention. Food was not great, very salty and definitely not made fresh or served hot. Second time there. But will only go again for drinks not food.

Had a fantastic early dinner arriving in time for Happy Hour from 5-7pm where a selection of cocktails are £6. Had a delicious Bird of Paradise Cocktail with rum, fruit juice and banana liquid. This was followed by a starter of Ackee and Saltfish with dumplings which were lovely and light . My main was curry mutton with rice and peas and coleslaw. The curry was some of the best I have ever eaten. The meat was tender and the curry was flavoursome with the right amount of heat. Really enjoyed my meal. Didn't have any space for dessert. The service was great. The young ladies were attentive and friendly. I will certainly be returning and spreading the word to friends. All the tables around us everyone appeared to be enjoying their food and cocktails.

3/10Been to this restaurant afew times over the years & it always had a good standard, my one but last trip there wasnt as nice but kept open minded, this time round i could not wait to get out there, food,service, music (very loud) wasnt for me (wont be going back)

8.5/10Trendy, hidden gem of a restaurant tucked away in a Camden side street close to Camden Town tube station. Delicious, authentic tasting caribbean dishes, friendly and attentive staff. The curry goat was off the scale scrumptious! The reggae background music was a bit loud at times but this did not spoil the experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

8.5/10Great decor. Palm shades and wall art. Entrance has a montage to Robert Nesta Marley. Food reasonably priced and presented. Romeo DiCaprio was our excellent, chilled server. He has a working sense of humour and knows how to engage on conversation.. Ribs starter was a decent portion and very yummy morish, so were the fried dumplings. Mains of Curried Goat rice n peas delicious. The Brown Stew Chicken highly recommended. Bottle of House red, Merlot. And a passion fruit Daiquiri went down smoothly. Had the pleasure of meeting Chef Shane too. Lovely place. Music varied from reggae to dance hall. Recommended.

9.5/10Reviews prior to visiting were mixed, I found the experience of both staff and service brisk but courteous, food excellent, price considering 10 people had quite a few cocktails in addition to our meals, reasonable. All in all I’d do it again easily.
