2.5/10The service is very slow. It took around 20 minutes for the server to come to our table to take our order and that was only after I flagged him down. Took over an hour for the mains to come and was luke warm. The Jerk sauce on the chicken is shop bought and the meals are quite sickly. I won't be returning. Cottons, located down the road are authentic, the food is delicious and portion sizes are big and they provide efficient service.

10/10I had the pleasure of indulging in a variety of delicious dishes that truly captured the essence of Jamaican cuisine with a lovely decor & friendly staff. The Lobster Crab Fritter and Potato Fritter were a perfect start to the meal, with their crispy exteriors and flavorful fillings. The Mix Grill Jerk Meat was a standout, offering a wonderful medley of smoky, spicy, and savory flavors that left my taste buds dancing along with plantain and coleslaw were the perfect accompaniments, balancing the heat of the jerk meat with their sweet and tangy flavors. The Murton Curry and Roti were also exceptional, with the curry offering a rich and aromatic taste, and the roti providing a soft and flaky texture to soak up the delicious sauce. One of the highlights of my experience was the mango drink served in an actual coconut. It was refreshing and added a fun and authentic touch.

10/10Excellent service with lots of personality, Kemal was so charming and on top of things, he managed that restaurant so well and always mindful of how long people are waiting. We were seated bang on 7pm and the food came very quickly and was so tasty. We’re already planning our next visit. Only constructive feedback is it’s the second time I’ve had the lobster Mac cheese balls and they are a bit bland in flavour and not juicy so wouldn’t get them again. But honestly everything else is top notch I can’t wait to come back! Thanks Kemar for being a great host :)

9.5/10Food was delicious. Generous servings. 2 courses was more than enough. All of our party enjoyed our individual dishes. Only slight gripe was the speaker being above our table. I found it a little too loud. Would definitely recommend and return.

9/10Amazing food, amazing value the evening was only spoiled by a group of very loud, obnoxious, drunk guests. The manager did a great job by stepping in before anyone complained to ask the (nearly 20 strong) group of women to respect the other diners. Not his full at all, shame about the guests.

10/10We had the pleasure of dining at Ma Petite in Shoreditch, and it was nothing short of exceptional! My sister and I were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff stood out. The chef Kemar personally checked in on us to ensure we were happy with the food, which was such a thoughtful touch. The young lady Aminata who served us was equally lovely and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and satisfied. The food was outstanding! each dish was brought out at the perfect time, beautifully presented, and full of incredible flavor. Even though the restaurant was bustling, the energy remained calm, welcoming, and cozy. It’s the kind of place where you feel so at home that you could easily spend the whole evening there. I was especially impressed with how smoothly everything ran despite how busy they were. Already can’t wait to go back, 5 stars!

6/10Good was ok, not the most authentic Jamaican food but enjoyable! Slow service and the waitress was quite rude when I asked to use the fork voucher. I showed her my booking when I first arrived, then when I asked for the bill it was full price. Upon questioning this, she seemed to blame me for not showing or telling her before she brought me the bill and I said I’ll just pay full price. She then said she will try and get it sorted but continued to blame me which I felt was unreasonable and uncalled for behaviour. The place was nicely decorated and food was good for the discount. Not sure I’d be happy if I paid full price though. Decent portions

9.5/10The food was absolutely delicious, the starter portions are small and quite expensive for the size eg 2 ribs for £7 and 5 wings which were not very big for 9.50. Also you could not order your starters and mains separately, all had to be ordered at the same time which I think was bit off putting. The restaurant was very busy probably 30-40 customers, there was only one person taking the table orders which meant a bit of waiting for refill drinks. Overall very tasty food but some small portions served, I would definitely go back.

6/10Ma Petite was recommended by a work friend. This was booked as an Birthday dinner for my Wife. Mentioned this on the booking and also because of the time of year we did not want to be sat by the door. We arrived and our table was by the door, they did move us to another table. As it was Happy Hour we ordered drinks but were informed that it was only certain Cocktails that we're included, so we could not even get a Rum Punch this was very disappointing indeed. I've never known a happy hour were you can only have the cheaper drinks. We're only talking a bit of Rum here! At Cottons you can have what ever Cocktails are on the list!. Some elements of food, Dumplings, Festivals, Fritters seemed overcooked and hard. After our first course I mentioned to our waiter that the food was not very hot and could our mains be hotter. She said that she would mention this to the kitchen. Our mains came out and for the most part not very hot. Ma Petite has an amazing Vibe and the tunes playing must have come from my own collection. This was a very big point for us! why ask for the occasion (my wife's Birthday) and it's not followed up by Ma Petite with some sort if gesture it would have made a difference and was very disappointing.

9.5/10Excellent Oxtail, some of the best I have ever had, really helpful staff and always ready to help. Tables were a bit close to each other, but was not all that noticeable with the excellent service and food.
