9/10Everything we ordered taste so good! Chicken briyani, garlic naan, lamb curry and the mutton appetizer. The staff was attentive even though it was full house. Thought the location is a bit far off the centre, the walk is totally worth it. It’s reasonably priced and large portion. Highly recommended.

9.5/10This is an Indian restaurant run and maintain by Indians. Ambiance is good not very fancy (which is not a mandate). Good place to enjoy cuisines from southern part of India at a very reasonable price compared to other Indian restaurant. Staff is very welcoming and very polite. Brandon was very good thanks for your hospitality. It's always good to find Indians outside of India who are very kind, polite and humble. GBU.

10/10We had an amazing lunch here using the fork discount, really friendly &, helpful staff, happy to explain dishes etc. Guided us through menu. Swift service and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

5.5/10Great food and staff was welcoming. We give 5.5 as they need to staff the place better! Tables that arrived after us got served before us, the poor waiter was having to run around serving all the tables and we had to ask for things more than once time as he clearly could not keep up with all the orders.

2/10I saw the reviews and went for it. I am never going back. The food, experience and service was nothing close to what is being charged. Under cooked curry, oily naan and slow service. Quantity and taste do not justify the price.

10/10I have been here twice and both of experiences were amazing! The first time my family and me were exhausted so this tittle restaurant we stumbled upon gave us super fast service along with delicious homely food. I then brought my boyfriend here and yet again experienced incredible service, food and ambience. A must-try restaurant if you're in Edinburgh and its quite reasonably priced as well.

2/10Restaurant did not want to give us a table. First they said that we should have checked that The Fork had confirmed the table. When I showed him the confirmation from you guys he said he couldn't control what came from the fork. When we left the restaurant we saw at least 10 seats available inside. Awful experience taking into account that it's not centrally located and we walked 40' in -2°

9.5/10This is the second visit, this time with a large group. The layout is as described, like a cafe and with basic facilities, but do not let that put you off. The food is really excellent. The fried fish starter is possibly the best Indian starter I have ever had. I could have ordered it again and again. Prawn starter also excellent. The lamb curries are very well flavoured, and the goat Madras is really tasty and worth overcoming your goat doubts for. Over a group of 12 we covered most of the menu with fish and chicken curries, plush veggy curries. Those of us who have been to southern India agreed it tasted very reminiscent to our travels. Give it a go. You will not be disappointed with the food of the friendly service.

10/10Small restaurant with a big choice of food which is different to norm. We had three starters and a main all for sharing and we were full. Couldn’t finish the main. Food was very good. Service - great. Front of house smiled all the time even under pressure as the restaurant was busy with people waiting. Good sign of a good place to eat. One of us hadn’t had ‘street’ food before so had some misgivings about going. Total mind change on that. We will be back.
