9.5/10Clean modern restaurant. Only a few tables in at 6pm but by 7-7:30 it was full. Food really well cooked and presented- enjoyed Bhuna, Dopiaza and Jalfrezi. Wine at a reasonable price and better choice than most Indian restaurants. Service was professional and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely return and recommend.

+1We had dinner here, and tbh it was pretty good, we shared 3 starters plus one main with garlic naan and it filled us up 😄 restaurant was a bit quiet, so service was quick. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

10/10Absolutely superb meal and service. We were recommended this restaurant and now I know why! Possibly the best Indian meal I have ever had. Everything was so fresh, the chicken was lovely and tender in all the dishes and everything was piping hot. Definitely recommend this excellent restaurant.

10/10We have dined here countless times and are never disappointed. The food is incredibly good quality and the prices reflect this. Service is friendly and they are very hospitable, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

8/10Thank goodness we popped into the Maharaja! My elder son (9) had hardly eaten all day as he’s a picky eater, but he wolfed down two portions of chicken tikka masala and pilau rice for his dinner! Decent curry and lovely staff.

6.5/10The food here was really good and very tasty. However, after booking a table; upon arriving we found that no table was prepared for us. So once seated we were asked to move to a different table and were ignored frequently by the staff who served others instead. We asked twice for our bill and it took us 25 minutes to receive it and pay. We were finally given our bill because there was a couple waiting for the table that we were at.

9/10Our hotel receptionist at Friar Wynd in Stirling recommended the Maharaja to us for being very close and very good. It was a spot-on suggestion! White linen tablecloths, busy restaurant with lots of happy guests. Our meal was top-notch authentic Indian cuisine, with professional wait staff, and a good wine selection too. Nothing in the area of Stirling town center seemed to compare.

7.5/10This restaurant had excellent food and ambience but what let it down was the service! We had to ask for extra drinks and it felt like they were doing us a favor by serving us, when we left our waiter at the door and expected a smile and enjoy your night and he just walked away to deal with take seats!

8.5/10Really nice waiters/service. I’ve eaten here before and the food has been delicious! Tonight it was good but nothing too special. I will surely be back though! I think I just ordered the wrong thing. Ambience also could be slightly better but still nice!

10/10Great food and service once again. Will be back here and highly recommend it for a delicious meal. Only drawback is the toilet but they have one on the level for those unable to climb the stairs.

10/10A local recommended this as the best in the area. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and we eat a lot of curry. It was busy on a Friday night so just as well I booked.
