10/10I recently Gluten intolerent and this was no trouble at all at the Malmaison Newcastle, which we have always loved. I was able to have all the delicious Chefs Table starter's with lots of tasty treats Salmon, Salad's, Prawns, Meats, Soup etc all so yummy also the beautiful rare Roast Beef Sunday Lunch followed by lovely dessert of Baked Cheese Cake. Thank you to both Tessie and Aaron for fabulous happy friendly service. Can't wait to go back again

7/10Although the waitered service was very good, there was a problem with the communication of orders to the kitchen. A starter was missed and not served. Later one of the mains, a fillet steak was over-cooked and had to be replaced. Although the replacement meal was correctly cooked, it meant that the person in our party was kept waiting, while everyone else had finished their mains. A disappointing experience.

10/10The chef's table starter buffet was amazing, we would come again just for that. We were very impressed by the standard on the non-alcoholic cocktails. The Mojito was probably the best I've ever had. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We have a lovely Sunday Lunch.

10/10We visited this restaurant for the first time in a long while because their menu sounded attractive for a special birthday treat. The menu lived up to our expectations and in fact exceeded it. The staff were very attentive and listened to the pauses between courses wanted we ,giving us time to enjoy the different courses. We appreciated advice regarding the size of the pudding which we were happy to share as one each would have been too much. We got a warm welcome and a very pleasant goodbye. Staff were attentive but not overly so. We sent our compliments to the kitchen, including their trainee chef who was obviously doing very well . Staff serving us and those in the kitchen were Steven, Magosh, Sophie x 2 Ashynn. (They wrote their names on the small ‘Rate us , Treat us ‘card which are now difficult to read) We would highly recommend this restaurant to others and look forward to our next visit.

10/10The staff were very efficient and helpful. The restaurant is very welcoming , with great views. The menu has an excellent range of dishes at reasonable prices and everything we chose was delicious.

10/10Fantastic Easter Sunday lunch with my family food was amazing and service excellent we will be back. The staff couldn't do enough and even surprised my 2 year old with an Easter egg.

9.5/10what a lovely venue for a Xmas get together. The food was wonderful - service impeccable and in many ways we were delighted to be the only party in on the day, though it did mean things were a little quieter than we might have expected. the staff were just lovely - thoughtful, non intrusive but extremely helpful and it made for a lovely celebration after a very hard year's work!

10/10This restaurant is fabulous and has 5 star ambiance. We were given a fabulous red leather booth to dine in. The food was absolutely top quality and delicious. The 3 coures Prix Fixe Menue is a complete bargain for £25. Lovely staff. Will definitely return. Couldn't fault a single thing.

10/10This is my first time to chez mal. Everything was perfect from the very start. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming. The service was fast and the food was just perfectly cooked. The ambience and the view was fantastic. I would say the only downside is the limited selection of mains on the menu.

10/10The food and service were amazing. I saved my stomach for a dessert (creme brulee) and the portion was generously larger than I expected (haha) Please be ready for it or consider sharing among 2 and even 4!
