went for a Sunday roast after reading the reviews, all our portions were very different sized, no two roasts looked the same and clearly you get given a different standard if you go with a fork booking. Not impressed. non of us could finish our meal as it lacked any flavour. the deserts were a waist of time.

We went today because the reviews were very good. We both ordered the Sunday roast. It was dreadful. The lamb tasted like it had been boiled and the gravy was literally coloured water. Cauliflower was grey. I absolutely do not recommend. I've given 2 stars because it was decorated nicely and the bar staff were pleasant.

A really lovely Gastro pub, spacious and cosy. Staff were excellent and looked after us well. The food was delicious and hot. Made our family's day to have lunch here. Will definitely return! Big thank you Malt and Hops.

Outside is deceiving. Inside is clean, modern and spacey. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Food was value for money. Nicely presented and dessert was tasty. Would definitely go back and recommend to visit.

Enjoyed the lamb roast better last time. Not keen on the cauliflower dish. It would be nice to have the option of other meats, such as beef or pork. Great service and value for money.

Pleasantly surprised- great last minute find for Christmas Day lunch. First time and did not disappoint from quality and portion size of food and presentation to excellent service from all staff and great ambience and clean toilets and great decor. Quality of sirloin has declined compared to previous visits. Manager gave us a discount and apologised. What a shame as we loved their sirloin on a hot plate with pepper sauce with thick chips but now there’s no sauce and the chips were replaced with new potatoes :-(

Malt & Hops is such a lovely place from the minute we walked in to the minute we left the service and friendliness of the staff was spot on, excellent customer service , food delicious and very clean family run pub, definitely will be again !

A different take on the British Pub, with a more modern look, they have clearly made an effort to make it more stylish and upmarket. The food overall is better that your average pub, our bang bang shrimps and sirloin steak in particular were delicious. The staff were great, it is reasonably priced and they run salsa classes every other Tuesday, if your into it.

Food was amazing. Our party of three had the pork shank, bangers and mash and dirty burger. And volcano chocolate and lemon sorbet for deserts. Service with a smile. No problem with the booking and receiving the yums discount. Would definitely return for the roast and happy hour.

Ate here with a 2000 Yums redemption for £50 off for Sunday roast. Lamb was tender, but was told that we couldn't have the set menu dessert because of the way we booked which was a bit weird as the deal is meant to include all set menus. £5 pints which seems fair for London. Points redemption went through quickly.
