My friends and I loved our dinner at Maresco! The presentation was 10/10. The flavours were authentic, tasty and fresh. We had the pan con aioli, pan con tomate, cheese board, goats cheese honey stuffed courgette flower, patatas bravas and crab croquettes which were all delicious! The atmosphere here was pleasant and not too noisy. Great service and friendly staff.

Generous portions of chipirones and a large courgette flower were highlights here. However it was rather confusing to turn up at 2100 and be told the kitchen was closing at 2130 when that time was one of the options for our booking?

Quaint small restaurant, very busy but we were fortunate to be seated upstairs at the counter, light bright with lots of air flowing.through. Staff were friendly and personable despite being rushed of their feet. Quite a wait for food but we enjoyed a carafe of wine enjoying the ambiance inside & out. Sourdough bread and punchy garlic aioli was nice, crab croquetas lacked a strong crab taste, but soft centred and crunchy coating. 2 paella large plates of halibut and black rice and Fideua with Langostine (vermicelli type pasta) were both delicious, well presented and full of flavour. The mouds of garlic aioli adding a nice flavour contrast. The halibut was well cooked, moist flesh and crispy salty skin., The langostine flesh was sweet and fleshy. Lovely textures in both dishes. Portions are on the small side but our choices were sufficient between the 2 of us. I could have happily eaten another portion of both mains. Great value at 30% off. Chilled vibe in the heart of Soho.
