We had Sunday lunch. Our table ordered two roast beef and one roast chicken dish. The food was excellent. The desserts were good too. Service was initially slow but once our orders were taken it moved along at a moderate pace. We really enjoyed it and would go again.

Festive atmosphere in the run up to Christmas but quiet enough and tables spaces out well so it was easy to chat. Good food and we were not rushed.

TheFork app allowed us to make a reservation for this restaurant on Monday. However, their dining room is closed on Monday Mondays. They were accommodating and found a place for us to eat in the bar.

Food, staff and service were all excellent. They had options for all tastes, from a simple bangers and mash to more complex dishes. And..... they can make good chips, and that's a must! I found the staff in both the restaurant and the bar really engaging and friendly too. A good simple night out after a long day of travel.

Great Sunday roast , we had the platter , so much food ... and decent roast potatoes, bottomless gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back

It is a pub, and the staff were lovely and friendly and accommodating. Nice place to drop into in a part of town a bit betwixt and between. Glad it was there.

Fair price for good portions. Ciabatta bread with butter was especially tasty! We visited at around 18:00, it was very quiet the whole time we were there.

Warm welcome, impressive British menu, delicious food, quick service, nice atmosphere. There are lots of seats upstairs and a bar underground so you can have a party of office drinks easily. Highly recommend visiting ????
