4.5/10A small space which felt a little cramped, and being a busy night was also pretty loud. The staff were friendly, and the prices very reasonable. But the food was underwhelming, as can often be the case when the menu is vast . I get the feeling that Drummond street is great for grabbing a tasty lunch, especially if you enjoy dosas and thalis. But won't be going back to Masala King, sorry!

6.5/10Food was pretty good, but the door was constantly open and close, the idea of drying forks and knifes loudly is probably not the best idea and a telephone ring was constant. Not what we expected.

6.5/10Starters was good, but the main was not flavoured enough, also the size of the main was quite small. We make the order and after 10 min we mentioned that we are using TheFork booking, waiter was confused and informed the kitchen through the radio about that, was evident ahe done that to make the size of the meal smaller.

Visited on a Saturday evening with hubby and friend and food ordered were very average. We had poppadoms with chutney which was charged at £2 .50 for the chutneys. Mains consisted of a Vegetarian thali,Prawn dansak ,Lamb rogan with 2 plates of rice . This was accompanied with a bottle of Chablis,not our choice as Sauvignon Blanc was not chilled!! Worst experience was receiving the bill,with 50% discount deducted for the food,yet the whole amount was taken.. I had to query this vast discrepancy as I had been overcharged and return to the restaurant for a refund. Received a cash refund and was even short changed. Very bad experience for me and hope everyone will be diligent in checking their bill

9.5/10The food was really good and the service was efficient and friendly. We went very early (6pm) so it was quiet - and strayed filling up as we left. I had the vegetarian thali and my daughter had the chicken Dhansak. Both were excellent quality and great value for money. The portion sizes were just right.

6/10Waiter wanted to see Fork booking on app but when bill came the 50% was not applied to the food items. After adjustment he would only take cash as payment, although Amex stickers were all over the front door. The food was very slow in coming, and when it did the portions were small and we had to order more. The quality was just average, nothing worth noting and the menu price was much more than that shown on the Fork app. We will not be returning.

6.5/10Booked using the 50% TheFork discount but unfortunately this wasn't correctly offered to us. The total bill was £55 with service included and after advising that we had booked the deal, only dessert and drinks were taken off, coming to a total of £44. Disappointed with this experience given we booked with the discount to try this restaurant for the first time

Dinner on a Saturday evening was very quiet. Food served tasted fine but gets cold quickly. Yum credits was not deducted from the bill. I had to inform the server about the offer , who informed us that we should have mentioned it in the beginning. Showed him the booking from The Fork . Menu prices from the Fork differs from the restaurant menu and prices were rather steep for the dishes we ordered.

7.5/10Booked for lunch. Set in good nice location, minutes away from Euston station. Good service but the food wasn’t up to our expectations, too bland to be honest. Myself, as European, I found it very, very mild, my husband who, as Indian, eats very spicy, was less than impressed . We had couple of starters ( chicken and prawn), paneer shashlik, prawn curry, aubergine ( I liked that the most), egg fried rice and keema and butter naan breads. We didn’t managed to eat it all and took some of it home.

4.5/10Three of us went for a mother's day dinner out and very disappointed. First food delivered after 35 minutes wait (only us and one more table with couple of girls, not busy at all). Then looking at the menu we ordered a mixed platter which was meant for two people, but very small portion and over cooked meat. Prawn fried rice had three prawns in it, ridiculous. Waiter offered a plain rice and naan bread to make up for the overcooked mixed platter; not really cut it because mixed platter cost £25 seriously? We had 50% voucher from thefork, it felt like they offer 50% of the food too :-( so disappointed and will never go back to this place. Finally struggled with their card machine; had to try four times, urgggggh . PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE

10/10The food was excellent, the restaurant clean and comfortable, service good. However, when the bill was presented it did not include the 50% discount. I queried it and the waiter was a bit vague. I didn't pursue it but felt I had been cheated. I would like to go the restaurant again but next time I will make sure we get the discount offer before we order.

3.5/10If I’m honest the food wasn’t very nice, korma sauce was watery, tikka masala was oddly very peppery, we were the only ones in the restaurant yet we had to go and ask for service for another drink

Overall, the food was pretty good, but the portion was rather small. We ordered Spicy fried prawn for starter and there was only one prawn for £5.5. It was not worth it. The mains were a bit better.

Nice little Indian place on a street full of nice little Indian places. Great spot for an early dinner if you’re going out in Bloomsbury/lower Camden area. Food is good quality and plentiful.

5.5/10Weird vibes (completely and utterly silent) but lovely food. Suspicious amount of service charge… definitely more than 10% added. I guess it’s easy to charge what you want when it’s a handwritten receipt.

9/10Tasty good rustic indian cooking. The Goan fish curry is truly delicious. We had the lamb shank, brinjal etc. The whole meal is good value, service is attentive and the staff are really pleasant. Definitley go again

8/10Masala king is a small unassuming restaurant on Drummond St, Euston It is not BYOB - it served alcohol All the classic dishes on offer including meat I found the portion sizes slightly on the smaller side but they were not as terrible as others have said Food was tasty and quick The prices are reasonable For 3 people having poppodums, main course and sharing rice/naans and a bottle of red wine it was £19.20 A head I thought this was great value and I would go again Friendly staff, good atmosphere
