    The 12.5% service charge wasn’t required for the quality of service we ended up receiving. The food was pretty standard, with a lot left to be desired in terms of spice levels. I won’t be rushing back any time soon.

    Two glasses of frothy beer served with freshly made flatbread and colorful condiments on the side, ideal for a casual dining experience.

    Really, really lovely food. I had vegetable tikka masala for the first time and it was delicious. The sag paneer and prawn korma were also delicious. Can't wait to go again. Welcoming attentive staff. Busy atmosphere but not too noisy.

    The visit was amazing. Food was really tasty and great portion sizes. The garlic naan was really yummy and buttery. Would definitely come again! Cannot recommend enough.

    Foods are fresh, tasty and well cooked. All the staff are very kind, patient and smiling. Service really appreciated. I recommend this restaurant to everyone because the food is delicious. I tried many Indian restaurants but I have to say that Masala restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurant ever. I will return again.

    Staff were pleasant but often stood staring which was uncomfortable. TV music was very loud, asked for it to be turned down, they did so briefly, then turned it back up. Food was really disappointing. Biryani was very dry and had little flavour. Curries were bland. Best dishes were the Chana and Chapatis (the latter were ridiculously priced at £3.50 each!)

    Tasty curry and the curry is on the slightly sweet side. The lamb meat is tender and many choices on the menu. Very good price after 50% off.

    Exceeded my expectations. I didn’t think the food would be so good in all honesty. Service was fast, attentive, and they were all attentive. Waiter Ace was really good. Tailored each dish to the way we wanted it. Main point was the food.. it was really good. Lots of flavours and it didn’t feel like it’s not authentic or bland. They’re were all bursting with flavours and great smell to each dish. Portion size were all good too. We all loved our own dishes as well as each others. Also they were not pushy unlike other indian restaurant, they didn’t push us to buy more food but were kind to come check if we were okay with what we got. Atmosphere was great. Busy restaurant with light music in the background. Lighting and decor is great. Food presentation great, all food comes in a cute trolley to be plated. Complementary sweets provided in the end. All in all a great fun evening with friends with great food now my favourite indian restaurant on Brick lane. Will definitely go again soon.

    Pre booked dinner for two was efficiently done via the Fork. We were greeted at the door and shown in to a decent table in a buzzing restaurant. Service was super lovely, drinks quickly served with popadoms to follow. Starters and main courses came quickly but without rushing us and were excellent. All good and highly recommended.

    I booked a table for four people last minute after reading reviews of Masala restaurant. We were not disappointed, warm welcome, lots of lovely dishes to choose from. We each chose a different starter and main course, all of which were delicious. I had the chicken tikka to start and chicken karahai main, accompanied by mushroom rice and plain nan-shared sides with my husband-it was definitely enough for us both. This meal renewed my love of indian food-Thank you!

    Masala is a very smart and friendly restaurant. The food and service were very good, and we will definitely be visiting again to explore the menu further. I went for a dish with a 2 chilli rating which was mildly spicy so I will ramp it up to a 3 chilli dish next time.

    Great food, especially as we enjoyed a 50% discount via The Fork Food Festival offer. White Linen Cloths & Linen Napkins. Attentive service and not hurried at all. Lovely touch to offer a complimentary Baileys with the bill. Would have no hesitation in recommending, we will be returning. Thank you for a lovely evening 😋😋

    The food was excellent. Fine quality ingredients. I found the portions a bit small comparing to other similar restaurants. The service was good but the waiting time was a bit long. I have to say that it was really busy. Overall, great experience.

    The interior is nothing to shout home about but the menu is really great! They have a great range of curries and the staff were really helpful. We got the Gohst curries (I might have spelled that wrong) and would highly recommend them!!

    Honestly the staff are super kind and helpful. Everyone is welcome and go above and beyond to make you feel special and enjoy your time there. We were given loads of extras like desserts and masala chai for my mother’s birthday on the house. Never had such good customer service. Good variety in food. I would definitely recommend checking out!

    It takes too long for ready the food. Around 30-45mins wait. The restaurant is super noisy with music and customers. Food is average but very disappointed with the tandoori children, very dry and tasteless. Not really considering to come back when there are a lot of options out there in Brick Lane
