We have eaten here many times but today's experience was very disappointing. Our waiter was so intent on laughing, joking and chatting to a few tables of people that he was totally unaware of the needs of others. We were not offered the lunch menu, we were not asked about options and so did not receive the dishes as we wanted them. We had long waits while our waiter played jack the lad elsewhere. Unlike our previous visits, the food was mediocre. Unfortunately we now feel that we are reluctant to return, having been in the habit of visiting every 2 months or so.

We used to really like this place the food was always top noch. We booked a table for six at 7pm so not late but they had already run out of lamb. I know it’s a steak house one person who did have steak said it was really fatty not nice. Service was extremely slow. Waitress forget we had ordered a drink so to save time we stopped ordering drinks as it seemed to slow her down. We felt forgotten about. We won’t be going back.

We found the overall experience a let down in terms of service we received. We were seated at our table but didn’t see a waiter for at least 10 mins. We wanted to order drinks and ponder the menu. Finally the waiter came to our table to ask if we needed drinks. After ordering our drinks we waited another 20 minutes before we was asked about our order of food. During the wait time I needed another drink, I asked a waitress if I could get one and she replied she will get someone. Still waiting for our drink I had to ask another waitress go a drink. Finally our drinks came then the food. Overall we waited over 1hr to receive our food. Not to mention the long wait beforehand for our drinks. The initial waiter did not engage at all. The food was excellent just a shame about the service.

i took my partner out for dinner ...and firstly there were 4 things on the menu that we ordered ....but were unavailable. . then our mains arrived ...one was luke warm ....altho the food we had was delicious...i felt let down and would not go back .. ...however when i raised my concerns to the manager ...he was very apologetic .and to his credit ..he halved my bill ....so i will return and give the restaurant another chance because of his professional empathic approach and treatment of me
