10/10It was our second visit. The food was amazing both times, cooked perfectly and the steak just melts in your mouth. We had three courses and it was all were delicious and definitely top quality. We will definitely be back again very soon.

8/10The food at our visit was excellent.We had the rare treat menu,great food,good choice and very reasonable price. We had to wait a long time at the reception desk to get seated and generally the service was slow during our meal.The staff were friendly and tried their best but it was obvious that they were either understaffed of rushed off their feet.\it was a shame as overall we were very pleased with the standard of food and our waitress was friendly and efficient.

Our server Gail, who was so pleasant, friendly and helpful, she served with a smile and nothing was too much a bother to her whatever we requested, eventhough the restaurant started to fill up with customers, she still found time to come and ask whatever we needed. The food was great, we enjoyed every bite of it. We will definitely come back again.

8/10Lamb rump delicious but perhaps needed faster and hotter cook. Prawns … amazing! More grown up soft drinks please eg Appeltiser! And .. tap water on the table or offered please Service excellent Thankyou. Nowhere quite like Miller and Carter!

7/10A lovely meal with friends ruined by the playing of inane music throughout our visit. Why is it deemed necessary to play such music, which requires diners to raise their voices in order to be heard when speaking?

5.5/10I have visited here many times in the past but on this occasion was very dissappointed. The ambience is fine and the waitress was pleasant but when our food arrived the plates were cold and the food not hot. The knives given were not serated so consequently one had difficulty in cutting the chicken and the greenery which was not cooked enough!!! A very disappointing lunch especially as it was for a friend's birthday!! The Manager came over but just said he'd speak to the chef!!! I certainly will not be visiting that venue again and shall inform all my friends!

6/10It was our first visit to Miller&Carter, I booked a window table for my husbands 80th Birthday, for 6 people two children and 4 adults. On arrival, they had no knowledge of my booking even though I had recived an acknowledgment . We ended up on a table in the middle of the restaurant! Even though there was a window table available! The food was mediocre, my husband ordered a 10 ozs Steak he got 2x5 ozs steaks which looked like lumps of coal they were so overcooked the lobster tails were so overcooked we couldn’t separate the meat from the shell. Service was so slow, the children left the table before the desserts had arrived, two of the party ordered coffee instead of dessert we waited an extra 20 minutes for the coffee ( staff serving alcohol was given as an excuse) ! In short. If you’re looking for a decent meal, DONT bother with miller snd Csrter

10/10Thanks to Nadine and her attention to detail. The food was well prepared to our liking. My friend enjoyed her meal so much, she carried some to eat at home. We were not rushed as some restaurants and had time to catch up on everything.

5/10This the third time in a year where we have been disappointed. The steak quality is good but they don't cook it as requested. This time my daughter didn't send it back (over cooked) as on the two previous occasions, she has, but this resulted in the rest of the party continuing with their food and her eating alone when another steak arrived. The wine (glasses of Merlot) was awful, sharp and without bouquet. I drink Merlot generally and we both know what it should taste like. We tried a taste of the Rhoja, and it was worse, so we had a gin and tonic. The side greens were more grey and neither of us touched them. On a positive note, the waitresses, as always were jolly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, but the restaurant it's self is now looking tired and old fashioned and for £90 for 2, I expect better.

8.5/10Very attentive and friendly staff, highly recommended. Nice location, good parking available, nice ambiance. . The mains food were excellent, one of us had the steak which was superb, however the side of cauliflower was uninspiring, and the side order of greens were hard and not nice at all.

10/10We went mid-week so knew it would be quietish. The staff were welcoming, our server, Oscar, was fab - polite, informative and helpful - and the food was excellent.
