Excellent
Lovely food Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff .Will definitely go again.
Nice chilled out experience
Amazing service and meal, very family orientated without losing the quality of the dining experience.
We were welcomed and promptly escorted to our table which gave us an interesting view of the Fleet Lagoon. We were intrigued by the interesting old house but felt that the Annex in which we were seated was a little cold and uninteresting. The staff were attentive and polite and the food promptly served. The champagne afternoon tea menu was lovely with lots of home-made cakes And delicious sandwiches, the top up of the teapot was especially appreciated. A delightful and quirky hotel. We shall certainly return for any special occasions that we might like to celebrate. The pricing levels were appropriate. The setting for this lovely old building was excellent which made it a romantic place to be. Staff super friendly and efficient. What more can we say ?
Our dining experience was very good - breakfast was tasty and we commented on the range and quality of the food, the juicy fruit salad and the free range eggs in particular. In the evening my husband particularly enjoyed the steak (he had it twice) and I liked the sea bass with cauliflower (I also had it twice!) The staff were friendly and the restaurant kept in pristine condition.
Staff were very friendly. Afternoon Tea was lovely. Enjoyable afternoon in adorable settings.
Very good, had portobello mushroom burger, delicious. Took 2 friends who also loved it. Pity about the awful weather. Going again Monday although quite a long drive.
Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Friendly waiters, always available to refill drinks etc. Food was beautiful, quick service and really tasty afternoon tea
A very relaxing and pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The food was very nice, presented well, with perfectly sized portions. All the staff were friendly, relaxed and professional adding to the whole ambiance. It was a very low key wedding day for us, and we were given a surprise glass of champagne to help us celebrate the occasion. After the meal we took a leisurely stroll around the garden and to the lagoon shore. Dogs are welcome there, however, as we had not been there before, we weren't sure how it would be for our medium sized, slightly nervous dog, so we left him at home. It turns out, the environment at the table and surrounds were more than fine. All in all, a great place to eat drink and visit - I imagine staying there would be equally wonderful.
Fantastic food and service been there a few times for sandwiches & tea this is why we came back to try the A la cart
We had afternoon tea in one of the sitting rooms and it was thoroughly enjoyable. All excellent.
An excellent experience, lovely well priced food, very friendly staff, great views! It’s just a pity that the lovely Manor House is surrounded by ugly buildings!
Another return visit to Moonfleet Manor. This time with 3 friends for whom i was a 1st time experience. All agreed it is a beautiful building in a fantastic location. The afternoon tea was perfect and had to ask for 'doggy bag ' as we couldn't eat it all. The open fires in the lounges were so inviting ....as was the resident dog. Will be making further visits soon.
