I left my iPhone on the table after I finished my meal and retuned to get it back in 30 seconds. The waitress in the restaurant kept my iPhone and refused to return it to me, saying she did not see it. At the end, my iPhone rang and it was in her pocket. The manager and the waitress refused to apologize, said they knew nothing. Totally unacceptable and I had reported the case to the police. This restaurant was never trustworthy and the people working there were dishonest. I would never recommend anyone to visit there.

Very kind personnel. For such an oily cuisine, they should have a pack of tissues on each table. Too many indisciplined noisy kids accompanied by parents who don’t know how to parent. The food is authentic, if you’re a lover of Chinese cuisine.

Mr Meng is apparently a well known brand in China. In London, the soup noodles are ok. They are not as chewy as I would prefer, but the flavour was ok. The lady who served us was quite patient, even though one of the guest was particularly picky.

I ate some tasty okra cold in a sauce, and a big bowl of spicy pigs feet noodles including a boiled egg. I didn’t have room for dessert but there are several interesting ones on the menu.

Very friendly, unassuming restaurant in Charing Cross Road. Fantastic value for the area - lunch and a drink for £10 and the portion was generous. The staff are lovely. I think there is a longer a-la-carte menu if you ask for it but there is a reasonable amount of choice in the set menu

It was Chinese New Year so expected it to be busy and it was. Had to wait thirty minutes outside even though we pre- booked which was mildly annoying. Food good and noodles tasty. Cross the Bridges dish was disappointing though - pretty much no taste? Very popular place with Chinese community - always a good sign of authentic dishes.

Great, authentic Chinese restaurant. Although very spicy for our group's more European taste buds! Would go again, but avoid anything with a chilli marked next to it unless you can handle a lot of spice!
