3.5/10Not great - not Japanese in any real sense but also not… anything, really. Flavourless noodles of the sort you can get in any “all you can eat for £X” place. Avoid, ideally.

9/10This is an excellent and very reasonably priced Japanese restaurant. The well-chosen menu has a good choice of dishes, all tasty and beautifully presented. Busy at lunchtime, the acoustic was rather loud.

10/10I went a couple of times, but this time enjoyed even more with the place which was refurbished. The food was amazing as always and the menu is very nice and makes sense! Super nice service as well, thank you for a very nice moment!

4.5/10Bao buns are not included in offer. The restaurant can be cold as the front door swings open wide and stays open if someone doesn’t get up and close it. Food was okay.

5/10The food was fine, however while it said online that the restaurant closed at 10pm, at 9pm they were clearly trying to get us to leave. They turned up the music, started moving about bringing chairs inside and the true issue was that someone started banging on something with a hammer I think? I couldn’t see what exactly they were doing but there was a very loud banging noise which was honestly ridiculous. We were almost done with our meal anyways and that just ruined the experience

9.5/10Fast becoming a favourite with colleagues - bao buns and gyoza, ramen and poké bowls, with friendly service and modest prices with or without discount. We all chose ramen this time, tonkotsu and shoyu - generous and tasty. Good range of soft drinks and 0% Asahi beer also available (as well as regular beer and wine).

6.5/10Long ish wait for order to be taken despite it being basically empty. Tap water served in glass jar which had limescale under lid/cap. my noodles were spicy desdespite saying nothing about having chilli in. rest was great and looklooked pretty.

5/10We visited this restaurant using the £50 Yums voucher. When we arrived the waiter said that we could only continue if we spent at least £55 in food, I then said that these conditions were not told to me before my booking. Although the food was good the waiters and ambience were not great. I have reported this issue to The Fork and they have confirmed that this is not in line with the regulations of voucher use.

8/10Food was nice - definitely recommend the bao buns but unfortunately they aren't discounted. Rest of the food was good - I wouldn't pay full price but with 50% off it was good
