10/10Friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. All staff were excellent, well trained, superb attention to detail on talking through the coeliac options. Pint of Deception from Abbeydale brewery was recommended by bar staff and was superb. All food was perfect, even satisfying my fussy kids who have decided to be veggie, they devoured a pumpkin lasagne and a cheese garlic bread with side of veg. . My steak was perfectly medium rare, fantastic. My 8 year old kept saying it is the nicest restaurant he's been to, and that is probably the best strawberry ice cream he's ever eaten. All very impressed from 8 to 73.

6.5/10Food was very good. Service could be better. Just need to be more attentive. Bar area was very, very loud (a good few in having a very good time!!) this ruined what would have been a nice Sunday tea.

8.5/10A refreshing menu. Good starters and both the Fish Pie and Tarragon Chicken were well cooked and tasty. Friday night around Seven is always noisy but good to see so many people we know all enjoying themselves

10/10My friend recommended we dine here, and as we walked in the outside diners commended the food to us. We had great, friendly and welcoming service, the staff were warm and amicable, I got the impression nothing would be too much trouble. Food was fresh, well cooked and presented and I think was a reasonable cost, for the quality. A real Peak District jewel.

7.5/10The whole experience was ruined by too many dogs off lead on entrance. We had a newborn baby with us sleeping but due to a waitress dropping a glass as avoiding the loose dogs we had to endure a hoover being plugged in right next to us .not creating the best atmosphere however the food was very good

10/10Heard so many good reviews about this place so tried it for ourselves. Delicious! I had the Sunday roast. Good size portion, all hot and very tasty. The pear and apple crumble was delicious too

7.5/10We enjoyed the food. There were very nice touches to wholesome dishes. We ate every bit. The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. However, being in the same space as the bar, and close to other tables who were also dining, we found it quite noisy at times. We would definitely go again. Certainly for the food.

Thank you for your review. Fridays is popular with the locals and we really want them here. However upstairs would have available and would be much quieter, we just get used to people asking to be downstairs!! On your next booking just mention this and we can easily sort it for you.

10/10The Oddfellows was recommended by a friend that lives locally- which is always a good sign! We had a really lovely family lunch - food was beautifully prepared and really good quality, staff very friendly and helpful and the roaring fire was very welcome on a drizzly January day. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

10/10We live a few miles away and it was a dry day , so we walked through MillBrow and Mellor to the Oddfellows. We both had our fave Steak pudding, which was delicious and very filling. I had the Choc Orange pud and my wife had the Cheese board. We had a nice meal and then walked back home, it was a nice day out.
