Attentive service. Tasty starters. However, disappointing main course: tuna salad had really overcooked dry tuna and the creamy mushroom chicken had too salty rocket salad piled on top.

Great food and service, staff very attentive and excellent quality food for a decent price, what more could you ask for? We saw advertised for a weekday evening they have three courses and unlimited wine for £32.50, we will certainly be back for that!

Superb food, but a little bit steep, especially given the cafe-style ambiance: 3 main courses, 2 drinks (beer and orange juice) & 1 chips was 70gpb all in. Will def go again (teenage kids still raving about it), but not for a while.

We went in the evening and ate from the set menu. Food as delicious. Generous portions and the bottomless wine and Prosecco was a lovely addition. Service was very attentive and we had a lovely time. I would tweak the ambience for evening as was a little bright but all round good experience

I like the new decor, comfortable seating. The staff were welcoming and attentive, nothing too much trouble, speedy service. Dishes beautifully presented and tasty. We will be back for their mid-week specials.

Lovely staff and great ambience. Hummus and tzatziki was perhaps amongst the worse I’ve had which is a shame. Could see our waiter using his hands to dish the desserts so some hygiene red flags there. But the waiter was lovely and very attentive.

We had a great welcome at this lovely small restaurant. Good food and reasonable prices, comfortable chairs and good decor. It was very quiet, only two tables occupied, probably due to it being a wet January evening. More people should try it!

The food at Okka used to be delicious but last night meal was somehow disappointing. The restaurant has been refurbished but there is no atmosphere, Lots of staff seating down on the side eating and looking at their phone with the volume quite high, weird, never seen that happening in other restaurants. Finally, you could tell that they were in a rush to close, the few members of staff left were hanging around looking bored and one of them thought it was a good idea to start cleaning the floor behind the bar with some bleach, very unpleasant smell, something you should only do when all the customers have left. We were 4 and we all agreed that we would not come back there again.

I have been going to okka for years except during covid. I was very dissatisfied with the whole experience, service was slow, we had to wave across to the waiters for the drink let alone to order. Plus there was a cold draft from the window and the owner was not doing anything about it! My friends it was their first visit and I will not be going again, plus there was a service charge!!
