Booked the Old India as the reviews seemed OK and the building is amazing. Arrived in time for 8pm, took 15 minutes before drinks order was taken. Overall, main course didn't arrive until 9.50pm. Had to seek out staff to reorder drinks. No apologies or reasons given. Service simply not good enough. Food was OK though.

Has always been good for us in the past but last night was poor. It felt like they weren’t expecting us and we were shown to a table that was squeezed in. Main course delivery was the real problem though as it took ages to come out and we were over half way through the curry before the rice turned up.

Nice butter masala, nice lemon rice and nice food in general, all served with a smile. The ambience itself is nice, but very small and with too many tables for the space, which creates discomfort and lack of privacy
