The restaurant was lovely, views over the city were great, food, drink and service were excellent could not fault that, the only thing that let it down was the lighting - lights were dimmed so much that I couldn’t see my food properly and for me that’s part of the enjoyment and appreciation of good food.

I’m afraid that Orelle Birmingham is much more style than substance. My wife and I celebrated a special anniversary on a Sunday afternoon and absolutely loved the environment with great views across Birmingham from the 24th floor. However the food left a lot to be desired - at very best it was average and we’ve had better at the local pub. My terrine starter had 2 lumps of gristle in it; my wife’s beef main course was as much fat as it was meat; the roast potatoes were reheated; the gravy was weak and tasteless. All in all this was a very disappointing introduction to Orelle and we won’t be returning.

Looking for a pre theater meal and having had Orelle on the list for a while, the visit was booked. Good choice. The bar downstairs was welcoming, and cocktail list extensive and inventive. The menu was also exciting and the food fabulous. The wine list was also extensive but reasonable. Service was perfect, friendly, efficient and professional. In fact, there is absolutely nothing not to like.

Food amazing. Service very disappointing. No bread was provided, although it should be routine and it was asked for. Bottle water requested, never arrived and they then tried to charge for it. Previous visit was perfect. Obviously they can’t cope with Friday nights.

As soon as you leave the elevator at level 24 , you are greeted and welcomed by staff. The views are amazing , the staff were friendly, the food was delightful and the champagne was flowing . Beautiful decor and ambient lighting with live violin in the background. Well worth the visit for a fine dining experience.

We had lunch at Orelle today. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The service was attentive and professional. We were seated beside the window in the corner of the restaurant. The views were amazing. We spent some time trying to identify the different parts of the city. The food was beautifully presented and excellent. It was a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning again.

The mains came out but they forgot our sides, we reminded them but we had our mains as it was getting cold . Even after finishing the mains there was no sign of the sides that we cancelled both the roast potatoes. To add to this the only vegetarian option was ice cream and the hot chocolate was not nice. My friend had it at the end and i could smell how strong it was .my friend didn’t end up drinking it It was a birthday celebration and the whole experience was ruined

Beautiful restaurant and sat in the window overlooking Birmingham. Staff were attentive and super friendly. Didn’t bother you lots but enough to ensure your happiness and experience being top notch. We rebooked for another visit in a few months time whilst we were there. Food was outstanding!!
