We recently had the pleasure of dining at Ormer, and from start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. As a Michelin one-star establishment, our expectations were high, and I’m happy to say they were not only met but exceeded. The tasting menu was a masterclass in creativity and balance. Every course was beautifully plated, with flavors that were both bold and harmoniously layered. For those seeking a Michelin-starred experience in London, Ormer is a must-visit. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and exceptional execution make it well worth the visit. We are already looking forward to returning! Cathy & Ben

From the moment we arrived at the pavement entrance we were made to feel special. The service, food, drinks and staff knowledge was brilliant. The restaurant was perfectly sized to make you feel like there were others there whilst still feeling intimate.

What can I say the whole experience at Ormer was outstanding. The service from the moment we arrived was impeccable - friendly, professional, informative and passionate. We didn’t know what to expect from the tasting menu but each dish was exquisite. Beautifully presented with a full description of what we were eating and the unique taste of each dish was simply devine. We agreed this was the best meal we had ever eaten from start to finish. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Good quality for price, service was excellent. Food was too creative for our table, especially in the mains and dessert which were not balanced and too experimental for our taste. The Asparagus with strong vinegar aromas and a chocolate Millefeuille were the biggest disappointment in the menu (and also the main and dessert) which is why I would give 3 out of 5 star. The wine was decent. The music was not a good fit with the restaurant (think retro videogame music) which was very neutrally decorated. The plates and cutlery were very simple and plain in color but had a nice quality to them.

When I was young, a good meal was filling. And you will get that here but don't waste your time if that's your only I objective. The courses come out small, but intensely flavorful. This is as much an experience for your mouth as it is a meal. Go with a willingness to try new combinations and learn, and you will be very satisfied. Don't be afraid to lean into the expertise of the sommelier, he knows his business. Taste and enjoy, do not rush, is worth the time to savor everything this placehas to offer.

The food and service were fantastic. We were however seated at a lovely table but which was set away from the main restaurant so missed some of the overall atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit and worth every penny. Would definitely recommend!!!

Never been to this restaurant before. Decor was very classical extremely tasteful. Our waiter was very attentive to us. He made us feel like we were the only ones he was serving. Food what great. We went for the 6 course taster which was Devine. Excellent cheese board was extra but worth it. Very extensive wine menu starting off with some very reasonable priced wines. On the whole a good experience and will definitely return

The new formula with only tasting menus is interesting & very rewarding. I tried the 7 course one. It was a real gastronomic journey with a fascinating mixture of spices, aromas & textures. My only criticism is that the portions needs to be a bit smaller because it feels like too much food in the end, something that could be avoided with slightly smaller portions. Still a highly recommended gastronomic experience.
