8.5/10We always enjoy the Orrery apart from the Expense! Set menu was excellent but still supplements which tip the price ever upwards.

9/10Excellent food in a very pleasant and stylish restaurant. The service was a tad bit too familiar for my taste, but nevertheless efficient and attentive.

6.5/10All the trappings of a higher-end restaurant, with good food. Clear issues were sparse service and no sommelier (or even anyone knowledgeable about their own wine list). Wouldn't run back given other options.

4/10We went there at lunch time on Monday. It was extremely quiet which we quite like it but the food was disappointed . No taste at all , we didn’t finish them. Service was okay but I wish the staffs should give the client some privacy. Instead of be waiting very close to do the service and listened what our conversation.

9.5/10Fantastic lunch at the Orrery. We had the set menu with the glass of rosé champagne for £45 a head. Good selection of starters, mains and desserts. We ate on the terrace which was lovely. Gazpacho and bread were great, followed by starters of tomato, confit onion and goats cheese tart and a raviolo of confit duck- delicious. We both had hake for main which was outstanding. We had lemon posset and my husband had chocolate cremeaux for dessert- both tasty and light. Service was excellent. Highly recommended- especially for the set champagne lunch!

7.5/10Nice restaurant and friendly staff. The restaurant is a bit too quiet at 12.30 but after 1 pm the noise picks up. The food was pleasant. Slight lack of attention to care. The hand lotion was finished in the bathroom and I notified the front of house manager. When I went to the loo later this was still empty so I notified the other restaurant manager but when I left, this was still empty. Laziness or lack of care on the small touches despite being notified.

9.5/10The environment is very nice, the location by the window is great, very suitable for a date or a birthday. The service is good, the only downside is that the truffle risotto and beef are a bit salty.

8.5/10First time trying the Sunday menu for c.£50 pp, which includes 3 courses and a glass of bubble. The bread was very nice, similarly for many other nice restaurants(!), the butter was easy to spread, unlike we received solid butter from Le Gavroche last year (still shocked for the terrible service). Starter and main would be highly rated by us, desserts were ok… the waiter and waitress seemed forgot about us, long wait for us to order desserts, bill, and pay… she brought a bottle of tap water at the end but not when we asked at the beginning lol I’d still go back for this value menu

8.5/10Came for lunch with visiting American friends. Sat outdoors upstairs. Staff and service excellent. Good wine list but expensive. Varied delicate dishes with good flavours. A bit of expensive but we all really enjoyed the lunch.
