Osteria Brunello

Lovely restaurant almost in the very heart of the magic district of Brera. Nice and quite romantic ambiance is accompanied by very good Italian food with some authentic touch. Menu is short focused on a few rather traditional dishes that are executed in individual and exquisite manner. La cotoletta alla milanese is really the best I’ve ever tried in Milan.

Average cuisine. Very small portions for appetizers, forgot The fork discount to be included in the bill. Great service, though, very attentive and helpful

Very nice staff and good food. The pasta dishes were good but not outstanding. The Cotoletta alla Milanese on the other hand is amazing!

We had an amazing evening at Osteria Brunello. It was a dinner that we will remember due to the wonderful food. The cotoletta di vitello alla Milanese is sublime and we concluded with the tiramisu is even more delectable! Wish we could return!

Excellent food. Terrific taste. I’m a vegetarian and could not try the veL cutlet so I had ravioli and a side of vegetables that was the same cost as the veal cutlet. While my friend had a full meal with his cutlet, my portions were minuscule and I left the restaurant hungry. I would not recommend this restaurant for anything other than the cutlet. Otherwise, you will pay a steep price for very little.

This Osteria Brunello lives up to it's excellent reputation. Service was first rate. Staff is helpful and attentive. The food was superb. I am a fan of Cotoletta alla Milanese and this was absolutely the best cotoletto I have tasted in Italy and the U.S. Go, you will not be disappointed.

We arrived on time for our reservations. We were shown to our seats and never saw a waiter no menus no water no wine. The owner sat behind the cash register while one waiter took care of all the tables inside and out. After 20 minutes the owner yelled at the waiter to bring water outside. At that time we got up and left the restaurant no o e stopped us or asked us if there was a problem. There are too many good restaurants in Milan to be treated so poorly at one. If you are going to be open staff your restaurant and accommodate the customers.

This was a wonderful place to eat! We went two nights in a row. The service is excellent and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend trying it.

Cotoletta top

This restaurant serves an excellent Milanese veal cotoletta, which is one of the best I have had. An extensive wine list and great service make this place worth a trip. I highly recommend it!
