10/10oxbo is the best bottomless brunch that I know. there is both plenty of food (4 courses) and bubbles or wine. live music is in the background to make the whole experience brilliant

9.5/10Great atmosphere with live music, declicious and reasonably priced food. Suggestion for improvement: we ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, but it came wihout flutes so we had to use wine glasses.

8.5/10wine and sparkling were great. Food was good for the price (Wednesday menu). I felt that the music was too loud and couldn't have a conversation. The place is beautiful 😍and the service was great 👍

7/10Delicious food Great selection There's something for everyone. Downside: Already stated it on previous visit, music is way to loooouuud! Theres no way for having a conversation. It's awful. Really dampened the experience of sharing such a fabulous meal but not being able to have a conversation..I do not understand. Music should be in the background but not so noticeable. Same with lighting. Some tables were just in the dark. Luckily not us. Unfortunately, my guests really struggled and I don't think they'll consider coming back although they loved the food. Oxbo could use some professional advisors to help them understand what's makes a great day dining experience. Right now it feels all over the place.

9/10Very good food, but a bit too much . It is actually the restaurant of an hotel, something I have missed at the beginning. So atmosphere is a bit different from usual restaurant, it is also a quite large room so a bit noisy ( more like NYC restaurants ) but otherwise quite amazing . All dishes (and there a lot, sweet and salted) were quite nice. Desserts were not too sweet so kudos for the pastry chef !!

9/10Excellent food & drink staff service amazing. My only quip was being brought to a high table and live musician behind me (a) I asked to change as I’m half deaf and, (b) I’ve a recovered ankle injury was told no. Thankfully when my friend arrived they listened to our request. Restaurant was empty so I struggled to see this issue. This would put me off returning if I didn’t get a decent chair.

8/10The staff at reception and the lady who served our table Sylviana (hope I got her name right) were super friendly and welcoming. The egg counter could be improved as there was no chef when we arrived at 12:30.

9/10I usually go for the Saturday brunch which is a bit different from tbe Sunday one. Found the Sunday brunch good, but the buffet starter had a lot less choice than the Saturday one which was dissapointing , the hot starter also had less choice than Saturday brunch but still good. Main course was very tasty, lovely beef etc and dessert buffet excellent.. Bubbly lovely and glasses refilled very quickly Service very nice, attentive, friendly so overall a great place and excellent value but personally prefers their Saturday brunch.

8.5/10I've been few times Always love the food Still think it's too dark. There's no lighting whatsoever in the muddle of the restaurant. Bay windows without any light left in. I'm unsure what is the logic here. It's a noisy restaurant, not the relaxing vibe but more suitable for parties. Service is ok.. Friendly staff but not always present when you need and too present when you don't. It's an art 😄

9/10We had a great Sunday birthday brunch at Oxbo Bankside. Lots of choice, food was lovely, prosecco was flowing, service was impeccable. The only thing I would change is to turn down the volume of the live music, it did make it impossible to have a conversation at times.

8.5/10I've been a regular at the brunch over the years and always satisfied by the delicious and high-quality food. The service was a mixed bag – some staff were attentive, while others made interactions awkward. Unfortunately, we weren't refilled with water, despite the initial attention upon arrival. The live cooking addition to the menu is a highlight, with friendly chefs enhancing the experience. However, the atmosphere was very loud, and probably even more so due to numerous birthday parties. There was frequent singing. Holding a conversation for the duration of our meal was a challenge. The most significant drawback was the excessively dark ambiance in most areas. It doesn't make much sense in a restaurant and at brunch time to be that dark. Despite these issues, the combination of excellent food and reasonable prices makes it an enjoyable treat for brunch, provided dont mind the loud and dark restaurant atmosphere. 😊

9/10Happy NYE - we did the price fixed menu and it was really good! The music and ambiance were perfect. We liked the serve yourself style. There was a variety of options for starters, the 3 main courses were above average, and the dessert table was delicious. We would go back again - especially if staying at the hotel.

6/10Hot Starters, buffet & desserts all wonderful as usual - main course BEEF was TERRIBLE, grizzel which was left on all 7 x people’s plates! Disappointed visit. When you get x7 plates of grizzly beef there appeared to be all the same. Shame!

10/10My sister and I took my friend for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. Food was amazing and service was perfect. Our glasses were never empty and plates never empty. Quality of starters and hot items, delicious! And a little birthday treat after for my (very full up) friend too. What an amazing brunch. Thank you!

10/10Once we navigated past the awful man in the Distillery Bar (don’t be SO condescending) and found our way to the Oxbo we received a very warm greeting and were promptly taken to out table and given a really good introduction to how it all worked. The starters were all beautifully presented and were absolutely delicious. The poached salmon was sooooo good we had to have a second piece! The salads were all perfectly dressed and had so many delicate flavours. The open kitchen dishes were only just warm but very tasty. We were given the perfect duration of break before the Roast course. The beef was sensational. Sauces should be offered at this point, and maybe a jug of extra gravy. The veg were excellent and everything had wonderful flavours. The desserts and cheese selection were exquisite. Everything had wonderful flavours. The champagne was free flowing and promptly topped up throughout. We actually had to decline the final refill! All of the staff were very friendly and efficient and our visit was near perfect. We had a fantastic time and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Unlimited omellettes, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royal as well as unlimited pancakes and waffles with toppings, all made fresh in front of you 3. A Hearty Roast Dinner of your choice: Chicken, Beef or vegatarian. 4. Unlimited desserts and sweets from a table full of choice 5. Unlimited Champagne with option of syrups, fruits and flavours to be added All of the above, coupled with live music and fantastic service, where plates were promptly cleared and the champagne glasses were never less than half full before being topped up! One not to be missed!!! Going back next week for more!!!

7.5/10Let me start with the positives. The staff were great, attentive but not overly so, and friendly. The unlimited wine option truly was unlimited and our glasses were topped up before we had completely finished the previous glass. The starters were freshly prepared, plentiful and tasty. Lots of different salads, cheeses, charcuterie, frittata etc. Then it went a little downhill. I had eggs benedict which was tepid at best. It was obviously all pre-prepared but should be at least warm. My poached egg was soft though so that was good, the muffin was ok and the hollandaise sauce tasty but almost cold. My husband had pancakes and they again were obviously pre-prepared and again almost cold. We had high expectations for the roast dinner at the Hilton but unfortunately we were left disappointed, especially with the roast potatoes. I have been searching for some time for the perfect roast at a restaurant and this was nowhere near that. The first lot of beef I received was overcooked, so I asked for another portion more pink. That arrived and was tasty but the potatoes were almost perfectly round and the filling seemed more like mash. It was as though they had used mash potato, rolled it into balls and fried/roasted the balls. Tasteless, not crispy and not like a roast potato should be. The yorkshire pudding was average. The vegetable selection was served to share and there was plenty for both of us and that at least was cooked perfectly. There were plenty of desserts, sweets etc which I didn't try but they did look good. The staff dealt with our problems well and swiftly so I have no complaint with them at all.

7.5/10Food didn’t taste great but it was nicely presented and overall it was good. The restaurant was pretty much empty on a Weds evening so pretty quiet and relaxed. The waitress that served us was attentive but what I found rude what that she brought us the bill without us asking for it and put it on the table. I had to ask if they were closing which they were. But i would have expected her to come and tell us that they were closing before bringing the bill, so that put me off a bit.
