10/10It was our sliver wedding anniversary and everything was to detail, thank you for such wonderful service & beautiful staff. The soused mackerel was excellent as well as the < Pea Bravarois > the lobster was slightly overdone but the sauce was so good. The beef was delicious so perfectly done, and lastly not least was the creamy vanilla rice which was devine. Just perfect. Thank you

8/10The food was good. The cakes looked delicate. The hotel was a classic looking one though the court was a bit smaller than I had imagined. That was not as busy as usual, as the attendant told us. However, the noise was louder than I imagined and tables were closer to each other.

8.5/10Staff too attentive ie more than one team member asking if we require the same thing and when we did request lemonade for example we got soda, the waiter didn’t have a pad to take our order hence why he probably got it wrong and then gave each of us the wrong drinks! Including soda instead of lemonade for my Gin that tasted awful, cost me £21 and wasn’t what I ordered. I mention the cost and I am only writing this review because when you are an establishment like the Langham your customers are expecting a premium service for the money you charge therefore I was disappointed sorry

7/10Good & excellent ambience, good food & presentation but wasn’t much impressed by the ox heart tomato ratatouille, it looked good but tasted very bland and would be more appropriate as starter instead of main course preferably. The lady serving us wasn’t that great, very defensive and a lot to say and doesn’t listen. Never bothered much to look after us after taking our order to keep us informed

9/10The service and atmosphere was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We did find some parts of the menu not to the best standard, especially as a fellow carribean. The roti was rubbery and not properly cooked, the plantain was hard and not ripe, and the curried mutton seemed more like a brown stew than a curry. The roast breadfruit was dry. The rice and peas was excellent, green banana gratin was lovely and the prawns with the cornmeal chip was excellent. Overall a lovely meal.

10/10This is my second time visiting the restaurant. This time with my (fussy) mum for her birthday. After my first visit I was confident that she would enjoy the food, and I was right! She loved the modern take on the Caribbean classics and was surprised how filling the portions were and how much variety there was. I wish this pop up could stay at the Langham forever!

10/10I have been here for a few different occasions, and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is beautiful, and the pianist is fantastic! The service is professional and on point for a venue of this caliber. The food is divine; whether lunch, dinner or afternoon tea! All staff members are the epitome of customer service! With all that being said, there should be no issue with the cost. You get what you pay for!

4/10We arrived on time and had to wait as they could not find our reservation- I then shared the email confirmation and they said they would try and find us a table. One of our party was on crutches we were then seated at the furthest corner of the room. Service was very patchy- 5 different servers in total, we were never asked if we would like a refill of the tea I had to ask. Sandwiches were ok, a bizarre blueberry and bacon mousse was served which was truly awful. Cakes were pretty but nothing spectacular - after waiting 45 minutes I had to ask if there were any scones- and then I had to ask for the bill- where I found that instead of the normal afternoon tea we had been given the Christmas afternoon tea (an awful mince pie - too much pastry) which added a considerable amount to the bill. Vastly underwhelming and back to Claridges next time!

10/10The food was truly delicious and plentiful. If we were going to be just slightly critical the curry goat could have been spicier. The scotch bonnet sauce was delightful. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The music was really good which I think is such a nice touch. Most top level restaurants either based in a hotel or not do not play such vibrant good soul music. The artwork is really colourful and brings the room to life. We will be going back!

6/10We booked expecting to have afternoon tea, got there to find out The Langham doesn’t serve this on Mondays or Tuesdays! The couple behind us had the same problem. Very poor that they don’t get third party booking sites to explain this.

8/10It was extremely frustrating as although I had booked for two people I rang three times to ask if it was possible to make the reservation for three. Each time I was categorically told no. However when we arrived our table was for four people. As was every other table in the restaurant. We were told at the restaurant that we could easily do three but by then it was too late. The sandwiches and savouries were delicious. However the cakes were extremely sweet and too many. The service was excellent.
