10/10I little gem of a venue with rooms that have different moods and purposes. We went to the restaurant which had great food, service and affordable wine list. We walked in through the bar which was full. There is security on the door too. My only gripe was parking the car which I guess is not a problem for most people.

10/10IT was just lovely and manager sorted out the fact that we came with the dog as pub is dog friendly but after certain time when music starts playing they don’t take dogs however she found for us a quiet corner so we could have dinner. Top

waitress melissa was really lovely, made sure our food got to us in good time and she was very nice to make conversation with, the ambience was lovely, it was dimly lit and which made it really relaxing

6.5/10Food was okay. We asked to check if everything was on the menu and they confirmed and knew it was a late booking. However instead of roast beef we got a steak cut up into pieces. The roast chicken piece also was quite dry, needed a lot of gravy before it was good. I've been here before so I know the food could be better, but on this occasion it was not and saddened by it. Service was also quite laid back, had to ask for our plates to be clear despite everyone visibly finished with tissue on plate etc. Will I come back again? Yes - but I hope they make an improvement...

10/10An excellent dinner on our first night back in London. Our starter of padron peppers, and our chicken and seabass mains were all perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and professional, including wine recommendations. We will be back.

9/10The food was very good and the service was exemplary. The Paradise went out of its way to make us feel looked after . The experience was very enjoyable. The very small criticism was the very wonky tables which moved when you ate but the staff did their best to rectify this . A lovely evening.

2/10I booked via their website for a table of 7 people. When we attended the restaurant they said there was no booking and wasn’t helpful at all in trying to resolve and finding a table. When I walked in to ask if there was another place there was empty tables that could have been put together that had no reserved signs.

10/10Excellent food and friendly service. Busy restaurant which explains why the food was a little delayed, but the waitresses were very nice and served drinks while waiting and the food was excellent when it arrived. Definitely going to return again soon.

6.5/10Usually one of my favourite places for a roast dinner. Unfortunately, the food let us down this time . Beef was tough, chicken skin was soggy and pork was fatty with chewy cracking. The gravy was also bland and the roasties aren’t what they used to be. I normally have nothing bad to say about the food here but wasn’t impressed this time. Service was great as waitresses and waiters are always polite and friendly. I would give a roast one last try here but not sure if the rest of my group would

3/10We had a 3lm table booked for 8 people and was told when we got there they had given our table to another party, which then made the kitchen really busy, so our choice was to eat in the bar and possibly have over an hour wait for our food, so we left.

4.5/10Unfortunately the quality of the roast has dipped since my last visit in 2022. The roast potatoes were not crispy and seemed to be re-heated and the veg was not the same taste or quality, there were no parsnips and they added tasteless suede?! It’s such a shame as this was my go to place for a classic Sunday roast. Will not be going back sadly????.

4/10We arrived and there was no record of our booking.we got a table after showing our confirmation email. We were offered no drinks or menus so after half an hour we asked for both. We then waited for what seemed ages for someone to take our order which was only done after we had to ask someone over to take the order. There was no water on the table nor were we offered any. One of the dishes arrived after 30 minutes and when we asked where the remaining orders were they rushed they said something has. Gone wrong. The remaining orders arrived 20 minutes later. We asked for apple sauce and horseradish but they had none left of either. No one asked if needed any more drinks. Basically we were made to feel very uncomfortable about dining there. We left without anyone saying anything to us. It's a shame we used to dine there regularly but haven't done so for a long time. We were surprised to see most of the tables empty but now understand why. We shall not be going back

2.5/10It wasn’t the first time here for me and the other times I’ve eaten decently and service had been alright. Tonight it’s been a very disappointing experience. Firstly, 15 minutes after we sit at our table and we are ignored by staff, we are being asked to move to another table. Fine. At the other table, staff completely ignored us for a solid 25 minutes when I call the waiter and ask if we can order drinks. Drinks take another 15’. Then, I need to chase the waiter to order food. My cod was alright. My partner chose a chicken burger (they’d run out of beef burger) and he’s served a patty bun but a piece of burnt chicken breast, dry, without any sauce. So he has to ask for sauces separately and spread these on the bun himself. Upon paying the bill, we realize we’ve been charged the wrong amount with additional orders. My friend asks them for a refund, and - I kid you not - a rocambolesque chase with the staff starts. Nobody seems to be able to do a refund with the card. So one of them says they’re asking their manager to give them cash. They disappear for another 10 minutes and blame someone else for the delay. I had to personally follow the manager and creep up on her to ensure she wouldn’t disappear again. This place is open just because the club upstairs relies on local teenagers too numb to question the service. Stay The Fork Away.

6/10Sadly, service has really gone downhill since Covid. Everyone was pleasant but not consistent. 2 people in our party really liked the food—mine was not good (a roast that had clearly been cooked hours earlier and had dried out).

2/10Arrived for a 4pm booking to be informed the kitchen is not open and therefore not serving food until 5pm. They could not understand why I could book for a meal for two at 4pm via Fork, and we had cinema tickets booked for 6pm so we could not wait nor did we want too! Most inconvenient and the gent who informed us had no idea why either. Awful service for a Friday early evening most disappointing too!
