10/10Great food in a comfortable place, service attentive - perfect Sunday lunch on a rare sunny day! Still Borough Market's hidden secret. Its sister restaurant round the corner deserves the queues but it's so relaxing to be in an oasis like Parillan on a Sunday.

7/10Nice restaurant ambience and atmosphere. We sat inside the restaurant and always nice to see the open kitchen with the chefs working about. We were left disappointed with most of the food though for the money paid. For example, ribeye felt shortchanged for the size of steak - 700g seem to have included a chunky bone to the weight, lagarto iberico felt waaay too salty for our taste. The sides were nothing special either which for the price we would have expected something more. The highlight ended up being the grilled peppers.

9.5/10Joshua and Joanna were lovely and knowledgeable, the meaty paella/rice was excellent as were the cured meats and anchovies. I would say the only slight negative was that we thought they'd be closing later as we were only initially told the terrace would be closing at 5, not the whole restaurant. Not a big deal though, as customers were still staying afterwards but made me feel slightly rushed. Great outdoor space with heaters, would recommend!

Great service. Delicious food although I thought the tomato bread was too chunky for me. I like it quite thin and lightly toasted with plenty of garlic. The pork was delicious but the chicken could have had more romesco sauce.

7.5/10It's an interesting place. The terrace is lovely with nice ambiance. The menu changes daily and is confusing to choose from, even when explained. The pork sampler plate was amazing though we had to cook it ourselves. We had the steak cooked medium rare for us (minimum purchase 900g!?) and it was both overdone and entirely disappointing for the cost. The vegetarian rice dish was much smaller than the £44 price tag would imply. Going back for the pork and ambiance, but overall it seems overpriced for the experience.
