7/10It was much too loud. The crab special seemed to have almost no crab in it. The service was good, but seemed a bit frantic at times. The chicken special was very nice but the portion size was a bit too large. So overall, a mixed bag.

10/10Interesting menu and specials board. Despite my first choice of special being sold out (we were having a latish lunch at 2pm) we had an excellent leisurely lunch with very pleasant and attentive service. Would visit again.

10/10We had to wait a couple of minutes for our table, but somehow this didn't detract from the overall experience. The waiting staff were great, hitting just the right tone (with nuance at every table, it seemed) and the place had a very happy feel. The food was excellent, especially the interesting specials board of six or seven dishes. If only this were my local Italian.

10/10We found this restaurant last minute and they were able to accommodate a party of 8. From the minute we walked in the staff was accommodating and made us feel like we were part of the family. They were great with the kids, even finding paper and pens to draw when they got antsy. Highly recommended!

5.5/10The restaurant has no ambiance and a very bare decor. There are Christmas lights on the walls. The restaurant was practically empty on Saturday night. Still the table next to us was so loud that it made it very difficult for my party to talk. I just didn't enjoy the experience. The food was decent but very simple. Don't take dishes made for a party of two or three. We were served a big pot of pasta and I felt like I was in my kitchen. Why go out to a restaurant I wondered? Okay. It is sphaghetteria but still give us a bit more, please. I felt very underwhelmed. Go to the Life Goddess next door instead. Better ambiance, and better food, at only a slightly higher price.

10/10A stone's throw from Tottenham Court Road Station, every visit to this cosy Italian restaurant has been a delight. Forget those Pasta & Pizza "Italian" eateries in the West End, Pentole & Padelle is authentic and delicious, with super friendly service. I also love the fact that it's not noisy, which allows you to have a comfortable conversation with the people sitting at your table.
