Fabulous addition to the local Chinese food. North China nearby and Maxim’s in Ealing are both great quality, but my first visit here at least matched them both. All excellent quality, beautifully cooked and presented, with prompt and friendly service from amiable staff. I asked what part of China they’re from, the lady said “we’re all Chinese Malaysian.” I will return.

Warm welcome, attentive and considerate staff member who took our order. Delicious food, both classics like crispy duck pancake and hot sour soup, but also great vegan options, tofu with veg (asparagus, long stem broccoli, oyster mushroom etc) and vegetable hot and sour soup, delicious sesame prawn on toast. My son was acting up at one point and I found the staff kind and understanding. Also nice chit chat at the start and (sincerely) checking if we are happy. Took some food to go without issue, and the kids loved being offered a choice of sweets or chocolates on our way out. It’s a great location too. Will certainly be returning.

The waitress made us feel so welcome, and kindly explained the restaurant's menu and specialities. The choices she recommended were spot on. The food was excellent, very authentic. We loved watching the chefs work in the open kitchen. The waiter was very sweet too We ordered lobster and noodles, Peking duck, and also tofu with mushrooms. Great place, we hope to be back soon.

Peony is a real gem. The food was some of the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. The service was excellent. Will definitely be going back. Would highly recommend.

This restaurant has great reviews for a reason! The staff are so friendly and hospitable to your every need. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. They also went the extra mile for my brothers birthday which was so nice. We will definitely return!

We visited this local restaurant enticed by the outstanding review. Sadly the dim sum was overall disappointing. The gyoza particularly were of poor quality much worse than the frozen one you buy in a supermarket. The steamed Dim sum some ok some average, certainly not a 4.9 overall score. The service was however very good, attentive, and welcoming.

This restaurant is exceptional. From the welcome, the food and the service, we could not fault a thing. If you want a special night out with incredible food, you must try it. It takes Chinese food to another level. The quality of produce, seasoning and presentation make you feel like you are eating in a Michelin star restaurant. Outstanding! I hope this restaurant is around for a long time.
