9/10This was just magical. The cutest afternoon with my 5 year old daughter. The attention to detail was unbelievable. Little plant pots made out of chocolate with chocolate brownie in the centre as the soil, little tea spoons shaped like spades. I really enjoyed my food and there was more than enough on my tiers. In fact I struggled to finish it. The waitress was so attentive and kept coming over to offer us refills and offered us a box for left overs. If I was asked to make a suggestion for improvement it would maybe be the kids afternoon tea selection but only because my wee girl can be quite picky. For example maybe a choice between a fruit or plain scone/ white or brown bread. Scone with or without cream. Although that’s only if i had to pick something! We both loved it and really hope there are more themed afternoon teas as we will definitely be there! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

10/10We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's birthday. The Peter rabbit afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully themed. The staff were so kind and attentive. Really made for a memorable birthday for my daughter.

10/10Abbie our waitress was wonderful - so friendly and attentive- she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the whole experience. Also all the little extra touches which we weren’t expecting like the tomato soup at the beginning and the ice cream cones at the end made it very special. It was one of the best afternoon teas we have had.

10/10The food was so lovely, and really on theme for the Peter Rabbit afternoon tea. We had a children’s tea and an adult’s, and both were so lovely. Abbie the server was so nice to us and chatted to my daughter. She was on the ball with filling up drinks etc, and very smiley.

10/10We all really enjoyed the Peter Rabbit afternoon tea (4 adults, 2 kids). Food was delicious and clever and the staff were so friendly and kind. A real treat!

3.5/10I have never felt so disappointed in an event. We paid almost £100 for afternoon tea which had the smallest portions I have ever in my life seen. Peter Rabbit came in but only to be photographed with 2 elderly ladies who were having the exact same afternoon tea as us. My 2 kids were completely blanked forcing us to queue in the rain for 30mins to get a 10 second interaction with him. Food portions were miniscule. Honestly I have never felt so robbed or blindsided by an event in my entire life. Disappointed is an understatement. Hugely overpriced. Massively underwhelming. And 2 very disappointed little girls. Never again. The waitress who served us was really nice. She was the only good thing about this experience!!

6/10Staff were unhelpful at the gates directing us where to park. Staff in the café were so inattentive and we needed to queue at the til multiple times to ask for refill of tea etc. Very overpriced. Food was lovely though but very small portions for the price. We also weren't informed when booking that we needed to pay extra to access the gardens in order to get access to the café. Bins in the toilets were overflowing with nappies and huge queues for everything.

4/10The actual food was tasty and tables set up well in Peter Rabbit theme, but for the price, there was very little food and no extra little sandwich’s offered etc. waiter didn’t seem to know about vegetarian / vegan option. Tea refills didn’t use fresh tea bags, resulting in very weak tea. But the tea when served with fresh bags was very nice (note bags rather than tea leaves)Service was poor, no dedicated waiter, and we had to try catch the lady to order more tea etc. overall very disappointing and poor value. Best option is to dine at the cafe and order from regular menu for 1/3 price.

10/10had a lovely afternoon with family having afternoon tea. food was really tasty and fresh. our server Linda was brilliant and really got into character. the only slight criticism I had was the price. I guess when it's a one off it's ok just thought it was very expensive. everyone really enjoyed the day.

10/10Excellent Afternoon Tea with a nice variety on the tiers. Tea was topped up all the time. Our server Linda was wonderful and made sure the visit was memorable for me and my mother.

10/10We came for the trail and had afternoon tea for my mums birthday, it was my 3l2 year olds 1st afternoon tea and she was so so excited and lived all the quirky details like shovels for spoons! They catered to her dairy allergy with vegan options as well which was really great. Linda our server was extremely attentive and we really enjoyed the good. All in all it was great and we'll worth a visit if you're visiting.

10/10We went with our granddaughter of 6 years. The tables were well laid out. China cups, cutlery including a spade. There was sufficient food. The quality of the food was top, with a talented chef. We saw him getting herbs from the garden boxes in the courtyard. The edible flowerpot was a touch of genius and excitement. The waitress was just lovely and accommodating. Thank you for the memories.

5.5/10Very expensive for what you get, not worth the price, portions per person extremely small and charged a ridiculous amount for an extra sandwich. Would not recommend for the price
