5.5/10We had one of the Japanese tasting menus but all the food except the desert was extremely tart in some cases almost inedible. We added the Mexican beef skewers and they were great. But on balance we spent a lot of money for a very poor meal . The service from our waitress was fine but the women bringing the food from the kitchen was actually rude .

5/10Extra salty soya was heavily present and basically the only flavour for the first 3 plates we had. Everything was extremely salty in general. I cant say anything bad for the wagyu steak though, that was good. The whole dinning area was smelling like an oily the kitchen.. (you know the smell you get when you burn the oil in the kitchen, and you are to bored to clean that night, it sinks everywhere the next day. Like that) Considering the £360 (£60 was sake) bill for two people I don't think the quality in general was good enough to support such markup. Service was good and provided in a positive and smily personel.

8/10Food very good, I booked pre theatre set menu and waiter said he did not know what I was talking about and presented an a la carte expensive menu, I had to show my booking then suddenly he remembered, not impressed, that said sommelier and food were first class so the 8/10 is their doing!

7/10A different dining experience to what I was expecting but that shouldn't take away from the clear positives of the place. For a start the venue is breathtaking inside, easily one of the best decorated restaurants in the city! Although at the same time in appreciating the space, you have a live DJ providing music non stop, which I wouldn't mind normally but the music is so loud then it is hard to hear the waiters when they are speaking and it was clear they also struggled to hear us at times as well. Its easy to fix this issue but its clear the vibe they are trying to set but maybe if the music was a touch quieter it would be a better experience for all! The service is very attentive and of a high standard but it did take quite some time for some of the dishes to arrive at our table. It seemed that we may have gone on an off night as we heard other customers complaining about wait times as well! My "main" dish was the lamb cutlets, which were meant to be cooked medium rare but it was more towards well done, which was disappointing! For the price you pay you would expect a high standard in all departments here, which it did not deliver in all of them.

6/10Disappointing. Interior and staff were very nice but was let down by pumping house music (which I do enjoy in the right setting) and mediocre overpriced food. My main wasn't put through. I had to wait until the table had finished and were ready to leave before being served my main course. I didn't want to make a fuss but was surprised when no offer was made to remove the item from the bill or amend the issue in any way. 6/10 - another soulless instagram influencer joint where people go to take pictures of the food rather than enjoy it.

9.5/10We turned up early and were found a table, which was helpful - although the bar would have been a lovely space in which to sit and waste some time as the interior has been thoughtfully planned and is spacious and welcoming. My intolerances were handled graciously and efficiently by this restaurant. Crispy duck salad was so good - a good sized portion and really tasty. Beef tenderloins were just that - tender and cooked to perfection. The Mexican rice was equally tasty and well seasoned. The chilli asparagus were too hot for us but Demi (who was incredibly attentive) took them off the bill which was most unexpected! A exotic fruit salad lived up to its name and the mint and lemon tea was very refreshing. The only negative for us was the music. The genre just didn’t seem to fit with the place for us. It was a DJ and the volume wasn’t at all offensive but we just weren’t keen on the actual tracks being played and felt a different type of music would have been more suitable.

9.5/10A belated 60th with my Gemini twin from another mother. Had some tasty dishes. Portion sizes were unusual for 2 people, receiving 3 items did not make sense. I was rather aggrieved that the only rice selection on the menu had beef included and cost £26 for a small bowl, otherwise worth a visit.

9/10This is our favourite restaurant in Manchester. However, I emailed twice and rang the restaurant to surprise my wife on her birthday. They usually bring out a small plate at the end of of meal with Happy Birthday on. However, this time this didn’t happen so we were highly disappointed especially as we are a loyal customer.

9.5/10The decor, staff , food :- are all faultless. If you like very loud music then this is a perfect venue. I think it’s suited to the younger guests who were there in great numbers. Lots of tables of singles &!couokes which made for a very lively atmosphere .

10/10Food was absolutely gorgeous. Standout dishes were the black cod- so different and amazing- and matchstick chicken. Service by Stan was friendly and efficient. He was interested in why we were in the city centre and was knowledgeable about the food.

7.5/10We had a graduation dinner and got bootle of Prosecco for free. However, my daughter got up very early for her graduation and she got tired at ard 9 pm. I asked them to pack the last course for takeaway and just served as the dessert quickly. They refused and saying they don’t allow takeaway as we could be poisoned with take out. What a crazy excuse. I could be poisoned in the restaurant too if they are not clean. ☹️☹️

9/10Found this prestige place place via The Fork and booked a 60th b'day for my bestie. It's a take on Japaneese & Mexican fusion. The menu fails to give justice. to the food "a mouth sensation.".. The cocktails were a little hit and miss, and I tried a a high ball that defused the previous sparkle.
