Really good food - pork belly with burnt pineapple sauce, roasted bone marrow and venison haunch with dauphinoise croquette were great! Loved sitting at the bar and being able to see the kitchen.

The menu offers a variety of dishes including Ghatti Masala Prawns, Roasted Duck Pigeon with candied pecans, Tuna Tartare, and Pork Belly. Main courses feature Whole Grilled Dover Sole, Venison Haunch, Osso Buco Chicken Supreme, and Maloreddus Pasta with Wild Boar. Desserts include Crème Catalana and Chocolate Whiskey Crèmeux.

Good food, well-served from an open kitchen. Menu changes monthly.

Whole white fish topped with a medley of diced vegetables, including bell peppers and zucchini, served with a chargrilled lemon half and garnished with edible flowers, accompanied by a rich savory sauce.
Chargrilled prawns garnished with fresh herbs and served with a slice of lemon for added acidity.
Savory filling topped with creamy grated cheese and fresh green onions, served on a slightly crispy base.

Service was very slow; the roasted Dover sole was too small fish and not a whole roasted one we were expecting; the two waiters were arguing loudly in front of us which I found unprofessional; I think everyone around us had to wait quite a while for their food so kitchen needs to expand or be more efficient. Even with the promotions they are running not worth a second visit because of the slow service and underwhelming food

Good: Service staff (or rather the one service staff member) was good & tried their best to see to our order & requests. They happily moved us when the issue described in the 'Bad' part of the review became too much. Also, the half price on food items was very welcomed. Not so good: Unfortunately, the food did not quite live up to the promise of the menu. The monk fish had a very strange consistency and wasn't as juicy as you would hope/expect it to be. The other items we ordered were ok, not good or memorable but ok to eat. Bad: We had chef's table seats and this is where the issues stemmed from. The restaurant would do well to remember - these seats puts the kitchen on show so keep a clean kitchen & don't argue! The tension & bickering between the two chefs really put a dampener on our evening so in the end, we asked to be moved. It was also a bit off putting to see the questionable cleanliness of the kitchen space. Lots of room for improvement here.

What a surprising place tucked in the market blink and you miss it,eventually found it and was it worth it? A big Yes, the food was amazing and the red wine was fabulous at a price. The dessert was to die for.

Braised lamb shank in a rich sauce, served with sautéed greens and topped with creamy sauce and edible flowers for an elegant presentation.
Grilled meat with a smoky flavor, served with a crispy potato cake and vibrant green herb sauce, garnished with edible flowers for elegance.
Creamy seafood bisque garnished with crab pieces and served with a slice of toasted bread.
Tender beef slices served with a rich, creamy sauce, bright green peas, and finely chopped vegetables, garnished with an edible flower for an elegant touch.

Amazing food, cocktails and service. The restaurant is in Broadway Market so there’s a good buzz, and you get a front row seat to see the food prepared in front of you. We had the San Francisco Cippino and grilled octopus to start, and the smoked duck breast and the lamb shank for the mains. We were so stuffed we couldn’t eat dessert, but a couple of expertly mixed espresso martinis hit the spot. The flavours were excellent and the portions were generous. The menu changes monthly, which also provides a good excuse to return. We went during the fork festival, but Phileas Fogg would be worth it at full price.

Grilled fish with a golden-brown crust served on a herbaceous puree, accompanied by roasted root vegetables, a slice of lemon, and a pink flower garnish.
Creamy cheesecake with a rich yellow filling, topped with dark cherry compote, whipped cream, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
Hearty tomato-based soup garnished with tender meat and fresh herbs, accompanied by a slice of herb-infused crusty bread.

Overall a really nice dinner experience. The food was good, although not wow. Guided by photos and reviews, I was expected to be blown away, my first dish (pork belly) was tasty but a combination of too many sauces and a bit hard to chew. The San Francisco cioppino was delicious throughout, the octopus starter nice but got a small tentacle, so it kinda lost the punch of biting on it. The custard pie for dessert was fresh and tasty. All that been said, service was fast and friendly even if they were busy and hurried. The ambiance in the market has a cool vibe. I enjoyed my evening with a nice glass of wine and would return.

The food is first class, as with the service. Paul (who looked after our table) was very helpful regarding allergies for one of our guests. Thank you to the chefs for accommodating. It was a lovely and memorable dinner. Can't wait to return for the monthly changing menu with even more vegetarian/vegan choices 🌟

Grilled octopus, chargrilled to golden-brown, served on sautéed greens with crispy roasted potato wedges and garnished with an edible flower.

Lovely menu, great chefs and very friendly staff. Amazing to eat at what feels like a chefs pass where you can see your food being prepared. Loved it so much we’re returning with friends.

Grilled shrimp glazed and garnished with fresh herbs, topped with crunchy fried vegetable strips.
Charred white fish fillet topped with a medley of diced tomatoes, olives, and herbs, served on a creamy herb or yogurt sauce.
Braised lamb served on sautéed greens, accompanied by roasted potatoes and deep red cherries, all drizzled with a glossy sauce.

Food was excellent. Super flavourful and healthy portions. We came with the 50% off deal so didn’t splash loads of cash, but the prices and reasonable for the quality/ portions so you won’t empty your pockets. Vibe was great being on the counter with chefs cooking in front. Will be back next month for sure!

Roasted duck breast served with sautéed dark greens and delicate mushrooms, garnished with an edible flower.

The quality of food and wine was really excellent and very good value. What was a shame was that we waited 1hr15 for mains to arrive, then ordered pudding only to wait another 45 mins before we asked the waiter if we could just cancel the desert order and get the bill. The waiter was very apologetic and offered us some wine on the house but the bill nor the pudding ever came...tried to get a waiters attention to ask again for bill (having now been seated for over 3 hours), finally gave up waiting and got up to leave before someone prepared our bill which was then completely wrong as well! Truly such a shame as the food we did have was really really excellent but we did feel very forgotten about seeing numerous tables around us arrive later, to then eat and leave before us. Would highly recommend the braised octopus and the smoked duck!

Cozy restaurant interior featuring rustic wooden tables, woven chairs, and soft green walls, complemented by a well-stocked bar and natural light from large windows.
Creamy roasted vegetable soup with a warm orange hue, topped with a drizzle of green oil, a dollop of cream, and a crispy bread stick.
Braised lamb served on sautéed greens, garnished with edible flowers, and accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes.

Traditional English food with fast service. We enjoyed our meal even though the inner room was poor and a bit noisy, much more particular the characteristic street inside the portico. We didn't get wine because the price of the bottles, especially the Italian ones that I know very well, was definitely out of scale

Staff are 10/10, really welcoming and nice vibe. Food was overall pretty good - we had the octopus, beet salad and beef rib. Really good flavour but too much salt in the rib dish! Great value when used with the offer, not sure I would go back at full price

It was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in London! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was excellent. It’s well worth the trip to Tooting just for this experience. We ordered four starters (don’t miss the shrimps!), but the highlight was undoubtedly the lobster bisque. It was simply divine—so creamy and rich. For my main, I went with the ribs, which turned out to be the perfect choice. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone effortlessly. The ambiance is ideal for a date night, and the drinks menu is thoughtfully curated. I can’t recommend this place enough! Feel free to tweak it further if needed!
