We made a lunch booking for 7 gents to have our annual Christmas get together in Oxford. In spite of leaving it quite late to book, they managed to fit us in on a Saturday. The service was slick and efficient in spite of the place being packed, the food was excellent and uncomplicated and it was ridiculously good value at £25.95 for 3 courses. Pierre Victoire has been and still is an excellent choice for a celebratory meal in central Oxford. I can’t really find any fault in it. Thanks very much to the staff.

The person who took care of us was Phenomenal. We felt he really cared, provided excellent recommendations and overall made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our evening because of him— Wish I could have had his name. Black hair with glasses provided top notch service. Thank you very much for the wonderful food and a wonderful evening.

Lovely little restaurant, friendly and efficient staff and great food. Delicious French Onion Soup followed by a magnificent Sunday roast. Three courses for a very reasonable price. The cheesecake for dessert was rather strange - it looked like a slab of (beautifully presented) paté and tasted a bit odd, it seemed a bit like a creative experiment that maybe hadn't quite worked. I didn't mind too much as the rest of the meal was amazing. Lovely coffee afterwards, too.

I gave three stars for service just because the lady from reception. She received a couple before us really well and in our turn she was a bit rude. But the other lady that serve our table was really kind, even do the service to fast. I believe there are higher demand and she couldn't interact too much with us. But I will come back to the restaurant definitely.

The service was good, our waitress was very pleasant, the food was good but not outstanding. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. The champagne and wine we had was lovely. They could do with a better range of beers on their menu. Would we recommend this restaurant, yes !
