5/10The manager was very rude, the back of the sofa chair broke off onto my friend and we felt uncomfortable asking for anything like Bowls The chicken was amazing, mac and cheese bites very disappointing

You asked if we can serve the pineapple bowls without any pineapples in the sauce which our response was that this requires a pre-order request as majority of our meals are pineapple based and will take some time to fulfil your request. There was no intent of malice. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the jerk chicken, and we appreciate your feedback on the mac and cheese bites. We'll review this dish to see how we can improve it. 9/10Really nice staff at the restaurant, really made me feel welcomed there. Food generally really good, but they were very busy when I was there and it came out a tad cold. Flavour was still good and not much else to find fault with considering the offer. Still would recommend.

10/10The food here is amazing. Everything is cooked to perfection. The chefs are so nice and welcoming. I cannot stress how much of a hidden gem this place is. We had plantains, wings, the Og and jerk chicken. We didn't even get to take any photos before devouring the food. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back

9/10+2The jerk chicken and prawn is a must try - very delicious. The presentation in a pineapple is the cherry on the cake. Make sure you call in advance if you fancy any dessert.

2/10Staff made us move tables as they needed our table for a group reservation that “apparently were not aware of” for the people sitting next to us. Starters, mains and drinks were served all together; the worst comes when we were rushed to leave: one of us had not finished the meal and the waiter comes picks the plates without bothering to ask (and not even looking at the knife and fork 😳🙄) and determined to do so, she continued with her task. Cherry on top of customer care, still half-way through our cocktails, the same waiter proactively brings our bill and points us to the cashier at the exit of the restaurant 😳 Horrible, horrible customer experience as never experienced anywhere in the UK or abroad. No mention of a limited time reservation at arrival and They still had the audacity to “humbly request” to leave a positive review when we did not feel welcomed and did not even stay for 60min at this place (when there were free tables, no one waiting for a table AND the “supposed group” were so relaxed, arriving at different times, ordering drinks / starters at different times and clearly treated differently).

At Pineapple Xpress we strive to always put our customers first and go the extra mile while doing so. Sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience and unsure how this came about, you’ve mentioned a few things that we would like to address. We are a growing business with a limited capacity venue. If you weren’t informed about waiting times we apologise but maximum stay is 50 mins, we are happy to be flexible, but this is dependent upon bookings and how busy we are. We will endeavour to bring the starters first and the mains after unless you request otherwise. As standard, we provide the bill once the table is clear like many other restaurants. We have spoken to staff to ensure that we’re managing expectations of our customers to prevent any future misunderstandings and thank you for dinning with us.
