6/10they had barely any waiters, the existing lady, was so overwhelmed that at some point she snapped at us for not telling her about a voucher that we had, when she would not even stop to talk to you as she was rushing. the table next to us didn't get food till we had gone, and arrived before us. so so so loud, you couldn't really talk comfortably. won't come back.

7/10The food was delicious and hot, delivered in a timely manner. The service was poor and let the kitchen team down as their work was excellent. We had to ask three times for tap water and twice for the bill. There were a lot of children who were extremely noisy and we (a party of two with no children with us) were seated in the side conservatory area. We were crammed in. The maitre d’ sorted out the water and bill for us and removed the service from the bill. It’s a shame, we both love ping pong but I won’t rush back in a hurry after this experience.

5/10Someone who could explain the right menu for allergens without having to call the manager. I also ' lost ' my soundcore pods. Left them on my table, left the branch but returned only to be dismiss decisively.

7.5/10Overall, it was a fairly good experience. I wasn’t greeted at the desk (5 members of staff passed by without even a greeting before who I assume was the manager, came over). The restaurant was very busy and tables were quite close together. Food was tasty. The waiter was pleasant and attentive.

9.5/10Have not been to Ping Pong for a while and I was pleasantly surprised about the innovative and comprehensive menu. The food was delicious and what made our lunch memorable was the warm and friendly service from Aish. Would definitely go back again to try different dishes.

7/10Food is always great but it’s outrageous the set menu is £40 each just for Xmas. I booked as the set menu is advertised as at all times, at all restaurants £16.95. I will not be dining here until that’s actually true. It’s a shame as food and service are great.

4/10Food is good. I request nice table inside for small birthday … we were parked near the draughty from door. No staff wished happy birthday or anything. Left some birthday cards on the table and when I rang to see if they had been out to one side was left on hold indefinitely so I hung up. Rubbish customer experience all round

5.5/10very noisy at the side of tge restaurant. upstairs and partbof groubd floor area closed. Staff kept forgetting to bring drinks we requested or simply appeared overwhelmed. food was good but not amazing. i feel Ping Pong has lost its personal touch and service needs a review of the training. The manager was there but appeared to be pre-occupied doing paper work. I doubt i will go again

5/101 menu between 5 people was not really practical. The ordering system, where one writes on the menu is convenient for staff but not for customers. It was chaotic when we tried to order additional servings. Food was quite good but some portions were quite small. E.g. the set menu was not large enough for me. (I'm a 5 ft tall woman with a quite average appetite, not a hungry rugby player!!!) The vibe is noisy and canteen-like. Quite hard to have a conversation.

6.5/10Very average food, noisy and crowded restaurant but I suppose that is to be expected on Southbank. The staff were nice and helpful but the food really is terrible. Walk the extra 10 mins and have some proper dim sum in Chinatown.

4/10Quantity was too little and the food was very overpriced. I mainly went for the ping pong fried chicken but they were out of that by 8pm on a Saturday evening. The dim sums were average and the service was sluggish. Not going again.

5/10Service was rubbish to be honest. Just myself and my 9 year old daughter. Took forever to take our order. Took forever to bring our drinks. Once the food arrived, he placed the kids meal in front of me and the dim sum in front of her… I ordered the truffle gyozas and left 1 behind although I had finished because it was awful, he did not even ask if I had finished and took the food away. food has gone downhill. Much better dim sum places with better variety elsewhere.

6/10I felt very rushed, some of the dishes were ok, really nothing special. Rather bland and main course not very hot. Rather disappointing, staff very stretched. Wine was expensive.

8.5/10Went back to Ping Pong after a few years for a catch up with school friends and an engagement celebration. Staff were attentive, food was tasty. I'd brought a cake as my friend has allergies and the waitress remembered witout prompting to serve it as a surprise. Really nice evening and would return for more dim sum!

The location is excellent and food was great quality. The menu has good variety and prices are reasonable. We went for the lazy sunday and took my 11 year old. She loved it and we were stuffed! We had a table in the lovely side area that has a retractable room and it was lovely on a warm sunny Sunday.

5.5/10If you’re allergic to certain types of food there are not a great list of things that you can have, we ended up having the set menu which was okay but the dim sum was not very tasty and we were not provided with any dips. Service was a bit hit and miss, but the noise in the restaurant with the loud music was very annoying.

9/10Love the food at Ping Pong. Was a great place to catch up with friends. Area to walk around was a bit narrow but once we were sit down it was perfect. I find the menu can be a bit confusing when you're ordering more than one dish. I feel like it would be better if it was printed as a normal A4 size but the charm of it is nice. I would also appreciate some gender neutral toilets. I wish the music was slightly quieter - always a bit hard when catching up with friends but you have to shout at them for anyone to hear. Aside from that, would love to go again. Highly recommend the ping pong fried chicken and the katsu curry bao buns!

7.5/10As could be expected at this time of year it was packed. Our server did an amazing job with great energy. Food was great as always. Some of our order was missed off, when we asked we were told it was not available but we wondered if we would have been charged if we hadn't noticed. Also some of our favourites were not on the menu, replaced with "festive" options. Still love Ping Pong but maybe not this time of year.
