10/10I decided to try Pivot because my friend was visiting London to see me and the Covent Garden location suited us well. Another deciding factor was the 50% off food offer! We definitely made the right decision. The food was delicious; the service was friendly but not intrusive; the ambiance was perfect, with just the right volume of properly background music, so we were able to catch up without raising our voices. All in all a very pleasant experience we will be repeating.

5/10The restaurant setting was nice but having the kitchen as part of the seating area did not work as we were greeted with the strong smell of chip fat. It was a very cold day so when they opened the door to try to get rid of some of the smell it was icy! The menu is very limited, basically burger or fish & chips. The food was ok but nothing special, barely worth the half-price offer we used. However the waitress was lovely, and we had a view of the Covent Garden plaza which was fun.

7/10+1Nice restaurant at a good location. Warm welcome, friendly staff. On Sunday's only the roast menu is available. We have chosen for a starter, the salmon, it was disappointing. Very small amount. For the main dish we had chicken and beef. Chicken was good, but the beef wasn't. Small portion and the meat wasn't that tasty.

10/10Good food and attentive service by Chheyang Lama and Ashfak in an intimate environment with a wonderful view of the Covent Garden Piazza. The coffee was amongst the best we’ve tried in London. Would happily return.

8.5/10The food was nicely presented but lacked flavour. The mashed potatoes felt premade, and sauce that came with the fish was a little too creamy. Unfortunately, when requesting salt and pepper, the salt mill was empty. I would usually request a new salt mill, but my fish was going cold and the waiters were not around, so I ate my fish without sufficient flavouring. Saying that, I appreciate that people's palates are different. The consistency of the fish was beautiful. And my son really enjoyed his fish and chips. The extra addition of the birthday cake was really nice, thank you for that. The location of the restaurant is lovely, and for this occasion I liked that it was quiet as my son and I could chat without too much noise. The decor of the place fantastic too. The waiters were friendly and efficient also.

5/10Small portions, overly priced, bad smell, revolting wine, witnessed waitress poking fingers into pizza at the kitchen(not sure why). The place was empty with no atmosphere and a portion of chips will set you back £7.75 and 4 mini sausages £6!!! 2 very thin slices of beef (like ham) are what they constitute as roast beef dinner

10/10I've been here twice now and it was an absolute hit both times - one time with the 50% off, one time without. Will be coming back here for a pre Opera meal everytime! It's a quaint, quiet and small place with a great view of Covent Garden. The menu is very simple but done well - the bone marrow pie is delicious (just not my thing sadly) and the ceasar salad and chicken burger I've had so far are both fantastic. The chips were especially good! Good wine, what looks to be a very good sunday roast deal (although I haven't had it yet), and the chocolate mousse is TO DIE FOR! The ambiance is lovely as well - I personally love the odd posters but they're a bit niche - and since it's small it doesn't get particularly loud. One downside which I personally did not pick up on but someone in my group did is the smoke in the air due to the relatively open kitchen - apparantly when a big group came in and they started cooking a lot, the extraction fan couldn't cope with all the smoke so she could

6/10If the system allows to make a booking for 9 pm they should have proper service to allow us to finish our meal, otherwise make last reservation earlier. Very short menu and the only dish we all really wanted to have (the pie) was sold out. We ended up having burgers. My chicken one was okay. Ordered cauliflower which did not come, brought broccoli instead (on the house due to the error). Desert was brought out early, while we were eating the burgers, as the kitchen was closing. Glad we got the offer, paying full price would have left me underwhelmed. Great location, friendly staff, but overall a bit disappointing.

10/10What a great find! Fantastic location overlooking Covent Garden piazza, and a short (double thumbs up!) seasonal menu with great British classics. And the staff are the most friendly and welcoming I've encountered in a long time. Highly recommended.

7/10The menu was shorter than we expected but having said that our food was really good. Chicken with sauce was very tasty and piping hot, fish & chips also good and good portion size. Thought the side dishes were expensive but again all freshly cooked and hot. Very quiet restaurant for a Saturday evening at 7.30 and few customers so not much atmosphere. Our waitress was helpful and attentive
