PJ’S Chelsea Brasserie

Great place, good food, GREAT music. But service slightly slow even though it was a quiet night.

The staff were very poor. They spent the whole evening talking to each other. The restaurant was quite but we left waiting for everything and trying to get their attention to be served. Otherwise starter and mains were good but dessert was stale and tasted as if it had been brought in form somewhere and had been sitting there a week or so. Very disappointed

Used PJ’S for years, understandably busy last night, but as it was my wife’s birthday asked for a window seat in the booking but ended up at the back of the restaurant. The menu has changed quite a bit too, with the chateaubriand no longer on the menu. I went for the chicken milanaise which was seriously disappointing. It was so thin that whatever way it was cooked it would never be a succulent dish. A real shame to be fair, after waiting 18 months to return, perhaps we expected too much.
