Service virtually not there, place was dirty and we ordered a tomahawk steak that came out cold and over cooked( we ordered medium and it came out basically well done). Would not recommend, waste of money

Food generally OK but rack of lamb had too much fat on them. Ordered chips did not arrive with the main course. Delicious when they were delivered minutes later after prompting staff. Attentive service from pleasant waitress.

I wanted to write a good review as service was decent and food tasted ok considering we went to this restaurant due to the fork festival 50% off deal. Unfortunately, three of the five who went to dinner had food poisoning immediately the same night. I do not recommend this place.

Super food. Nice decor - it looks like it was formerly a pub. We started with salt and pepper squid, then had cottage pie and fish and chips. The fish and chips was spectacular. Probably among the best I’ve ever had. Plenty of really crunchy chips (not a stupidly small porting served in a tiny pail). Piping hot.

We requested a window table on the reservation, which they did make. happen. The restaurant feels lovely, just like a Parisian brasserie. The huge wood propeller that serves as a ceiling fan is stunning. The service was very attentive, and the food is lovely. The artichoke starter was really well presented and tasted great. The mains of lobster ravioli and steak were both perfectly cooked and tasted great. The prices were reasonable considering the location, service, and food quality. Easily recommended by this diner.

Friendly service and good food. Lamb rack was cooked perfectly and the veg also cooked to high standard. The creamy spinach side was very tasty. My wife loved the crab and lobster ravioli. Happy to return soon.

Disclosure: I’m a local and a regular. The proposition is hard to beat: excellent ambiance, excellent - and very diverse- food, friendly service. Whenever we disagree on which sort of food we want to go to, this place has it all!

Welcomed and seated straight away. Food was good but a bit bland. The waiter was attentive and was not perturbed when we had tap water to drink. Good atmosphere and reasonable distance between tables.

It’s our 3rd visit and we love this restaurant. A bit of a decadent evening, oysters, artichokes, lobster & crab ravioli and everything was delicious and great quality. We look forward to coming back again.
