This is our favourite restaurant, by far We have been to many fancy, gorgeous eateries, but if this one closed, we would be gutted. We have eaten here as a couple, with family and friends. It never disappoints. Delicious, healthy food. Highly recommended.

The starters were a very nice start, the service was a bit slow, and the mains were very disappointing. I had the Pomegranate chicken and lamb kebab, the chicken was okay and so was the rice but the lamb was inedible with how sweet it was. There was burnt bits of sugar coating the lamb. And the rest of my party’s lamb was very unseasoned and undercooked, it tasted bloody and raw. One of our party even gagged when tasting the lamb which is never a good sign. Overall the ambience was great, but I think that is because of how small the place is, so it felt bustling and busy with the 6 full tables. The decor is good though.

Thank you for your review As our main courses are all slow cooked meals they could not be raw. If you are referring to kebabs one wonders how kebabs were both uncooked and raw and at the same time burnt!! Regarding prices I am afraid we are not to blamed for current economic climate, however if you have a quick glance of our reviews you find out most of our reviews find our prices cheap or at least very reasonable. This was our first time at this Restaurant. We were very impressed with every aspect of our experience. The food was excellent, the service was first class, and the ambience was great. We would highly recommend this Persian Restaurant!

There was a minor confusion as they thought I'd called to cancel my booking, but they did everything in their power to get us seated immediately. They followed this up with delicious food and great wine, really friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be back.

Pomegranate never dissappoints. The food is always of the highest quality with an excellent range to suite everyone. Very welcoming with excellent service. On a road that has many small restaurants to choose from , Pomegranate is undoubtedly one of the best.

Lovely restaurant. Not too big but big enough to have a nice cosy atmosphere. Service was good and food was delicious and large portions. It didn't disappoint. Really enjoyed it.

I've been visiting this cute family run restaurant for many years now, I'll go most weekend. It is by far my favourite restaurant to go to. The food never disappoints, it's so fresh and delicious. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. I always highly recommend Pommegrante to all m y family and friends.

I have eaten at this small but intimate restaurant a few times over the years. I like Persian/Middle Eastern cuisine. Service and ambience is always good here. On previous visits I had found the food just 'okay'. But last week I was pleasantly surprised to find what we had ordered was delicious- and that's everything- starters and the main course. Very tasty. I really enjoyed the meal- and then the evening is really complete isn't it? So do check this place out.

This was our first visit to Pomegranate but it certainly won't be our last. The food was absolutely delicious with very generous portions. Even though the restaurant was only half full it soon became rather noisy. Some soft furnishings to soften the noise would help however , this did not detract in an way from the excellence of the food.
