7/10Lovely people running the venue but the food is not great. The prices were high for the quality and location. ( approx £8.50 for starters and mains £16.50 ) Venue was clean and had a good atmosphere, staff were upbeat and welcoming. I would not go back, sorry but the food needs improvement.

10/10Fabulous food, I highly recommend the fish tacos and the prawn fajitas; generous servings of perfectly prepared fish that will delight you!, served by an ever smiling, welcoming team. In fact 2 of the friendliest cheerful restaurant staff in North London. Even on a freezing cold winter night, in which we were the only diners present, due to the lively music playing, the warm service and the finger licking good food, a splendid atmosphere was created. Thank you again to all involved, we will de back. love Catherine

9/10Nice atmosphere in this pleasant restaurant in Finsbury Park, five minutes from the station. Service was friendly and precise. Food was tasty although the chicken was rather dry. The Fork 50% offer on food was honoured and made this an inexpensive night out. Definitely worth a visit, despite them not doing coffee.

6/10Was hoping the birria tacos would have more flavor, especially the dipping sauce. It tastes like actual water and there was no flavor. The taco shell wasn’t also seasoned. The quesadillas were alright..the cheese wasn’t properly melted with the chicken filling. It was more like a wrap

5/10We have been coming to Cantina for a pre-match (Arsenal) meals on and off since Covid, and it was good to start with but has steadily gone downhill in terms of quality of food and value for money since. The food last night lacked flavour, and quantity of meat served up in the fajita option. In addition what used to be a good value meal has now become quite expensive for what it is, I think we'll be looking for a new location in future.

10/10Fantastic food, really enjoyable evening. The restaurant was fairly busy yet the food came out pretty quickly and was all really fresh and well cooked. We were very impressed.

3/10We went to this place many times and the food is very good, even this time was all good until the dessert, the cake was acid, we had this cake many times and this time the taste was different, there was acidity in the cream it clearly went bad,we told the waitress and she just said thank you for letting me know, she also charged it. Also, I ordered a coffee and she never brought it to the table so after 15 minutes waiting we paid and left

8/10The decor is great, as were the margaritas. Our waiter had problems taking our orders (he may have been new) but the food was good. Fresh guacamole with tortilla chips was delicious. Our mains were good, though the taco tortillas were cold and would have been better warmed up. Unfortunately our experience was marred by the fact that the green-painted chair which I sat on had not been properly painted or finished. As I stood up, my black trousers were stuck to the chair and left lime green paint stains all over my bottom. Embarrassing. The manager was very sweet and apologetic , offering me a voucher for a meal and a drink. However, my dry cleaning bill is likely to be far more than the voucher cost. Very, very disappointing. Not a good experience and bad workmanship on painting the chair. I’m not happy.

8/10Service was lovely and drinks were nice. The nachos were very poor to start - tortilla chips with some melted cheese, no dips or anything, very basic. Biria taco was nice and prawn fajitas were good. Portions not the largest. Got a good deal with 50% off, but would've gave wanted to pay full price.

8/10Great tacos 🌮 but wish the guacamole was mashed up in a bowl to help ourselves like other restaurant. A lot of ingredients were missing. Had to request the salsa sauce as only 2 was given when we ordered two different set of tacos.

2.5/10Food was very bland. Not authentic or tasty. Tasted like a cheap, budget supermarket mexican. Service was quick was food was very average. Please note that to my surprise, cheese is not served with fajitas. Crazy.

7.5/10The food was very nice a part from the nachos, came without guacamole which is a first and tasted very texmex rather than authentic. The other dishes were good. They should expland the menu little bit for example they don't serve beef fajitas. The service was good. The negative note was the furniture (table and chairs) broken and a bit dirty.

8.5/10The COCKTAILS were sensational - and the bar person fantastic! The food was good too - I wish I had known that the seabass and prawn in the taco was going to be fried. Otherwise the nachos were nice and the friends who had the fajitas really enjoyed it.
