Priory View Restaurant at The Abbey

Staff were excellent. I had the belly of pork and the crackling was wonderful although the meat could have done with more flavour. Vegetables were excellent too.

The food was OK although there was limited choice - they had run out of 2 main course menu choices (out of about 5} The restaurant is very dated and tired. The furniture and lighting is from the 60's/70's as well as the carpets. However the staff were pleasant and tried their best

Sea Bass was perfect; Cheese selection was generous. Staff were attentive and friendly-Heather was particularly helpful.

The most glorious food, lots of choice, dined two evenings in a row and each evening very pleased with the well cooked, well presented tasty meals. Great service from friendly, helpful, caring staff.

Dining room very 70s and cafeteria like, bright flourescent lighting, no table cloths on fotmica tables. However, food was excellent (4 of us with different choices) and staff very pleasant.

Staff were wonderful, food was great especially the Malvern Pudding.

Here we are in the middle of a vegetable growing area, and hardly any fresh vegetables on the menu. No asparagus when it is now in season, no broccoli choices.The menu was very mediocre with a lack of variety and choice, the sweets were pretty basic.

Pleasant restaurant. Lovely views if you can get near to a window. Pleasant staff. Food. :- I would not recommend dinner here on my experience. I had brisket of beef. It cut fairly well but certainly didn't fall apart. The meat was very chewy and not a lot of taste. The rest of the meal was only OK. I was offered a replacement but you don't want to be starting a new meal when everyone else is finishing theirs. Breakfast was very good.

Good location, easy booking, great customer service,unusual mix for starters, catered for a wide range of tastes
