Overall, I had a satisfying experience at the Italian restaurant. The food was exceptional, especially the pasta which even pleased my pasta-loving daughters. Despite our hunger from the drive up from London, the service was a bit sluggish, possibly due to our waiter being new. He forgot the kids' menu initially and seemed a bit slow, but his friendliness made up for it. Despite minor hiccups, the delicious food overshadowed any shortcomings.

We ordered pizza which took forever to arrive. Within the wait we had staff coming to apologise twice. Once our food arrived it was nice. We waited a while again then caught someone’s attention to order a dessert. We both had an affogato which apparently had mascarpone ice cream we didn’t particularly think it tasted any different from any other normal vanilla ice cream. We had to ask twice for the bill. Overall we felt like it was over priced & the waiting times for food are not good. My friend was actually there at the same time and their starters were wrong twice & they forgot to even put their main course order through. Rightly so they paid for what they’d had and left. Neither of us said we would go back again.

The pizza was amongst the best Ive eaten. Fabulous buttery , garlicy mushrooms on a thin and crispy base. The chocolate pot was rich and full flavoured. The affogato was also well received. Not sure of it’s name but one of our party chose the sweat pizza with apples and that was delicious too but not for one person I think. Staff were attentive, efficient and warm. Had a lovely evening. Very nice all round

Lovely food, only criticism was the pricing. £4 extra to put a couple of slices of salami on a children’s pizza. Also a large glass of wine was charged at £12 however a medium at £8.50?! This was raised as we were paying the bill and the staff member simply said “I don’t do the pricing”

Welcoming staff in a nice open space style restaurant. Cosy feel from the pizza oven in a corner where you could eat casually at the high counter. Menu has a good selection of regional dishes & not just your typical Italian pasta/pizzas. Our choices of one pasta (king prawns one), one pizza (mushroom one), salad & obligatory fries with mayo dip were very tasty. Good value in combo offers is well worth a few more visits too.
