I took the 49.50 menu and unfortunately for what I’ve paid the food was averaged.
Maybe they had problems in the kitchen because they skip a dish and the service was very slow.
I cannot recommend.

While visiting London, we wanted to try a Sunday roast. The menu at Rabbit looked great, with various offerings for the Sunday roast. We arrived on time for our reservation and were promptly seated. We ordered the signature Mushroom and marmite eclairs and they came out quickly. Unfortunately, they really lacked flavor and we even passed an opportunity for a free order of them while we were waiting for our food. Drinks came out quickly, my husband had an excellent bloody Mary and I had an English wine that I enjoyed. Then the wait began. And went on. And on. After 30 minutes the server offered us the free eclairs which we declined as an apology for the delayed service. After another 15 minutes our food finally came out. My lamb was so incredibly delicious! It was fall apart tender, juicy and delicious as were the carrots, turnip and potatoes. Sadly, the same could not be said of the pork my husband ordered, It was a bit dry, and generally lacked flavor. His parsnip was so undercooked it couldn't be eaten. We asked the server what was going on in the kitchen and she said it was an entirely new team. She did comp us our last glasses of wine due to the wait. I would absolutely go back for the lamb, but I would give the new team time to figure out what they are doing-they will get it. In the meantime, enjoy the drinks and the cozy atmosphere.

My wife and I ate at Rabbit while we were visiting in London. We had the local and field set menu. The food and the service were both excellent. The wine pairings are fantastic as well and quite generous. We would definitely go back next time we’re here.

My companion's food arrived and we were told mine was on the way. 15 minutes later it still had not arrived. They were very embarrassed and asked if we wanted to put his food under the heater until mine was ready. When my main course arrive it was tiny, I dont mean small, it was tiny, not even starter sized. It tased delicious but was in no way a main course size or value for money. I was very disappointed in a place I have been to many time before, I will not be going back

The place was cozy. Our starters were tasty and good size. The main course was very small and nothing special (too much fat for my taste). Unfortunately not worth the price.

The food was excellent. The staff were very nice and friendly but the service was quite slow. I also didn't appreciate the service charge that was included on the bill. I would have preferred to leave my own tip based on the service.

A friend and I enjoyed a very pleasant meal here prior to an evening carol service. Both being in the wine trade, we were attracted by the connection with an English vineyard. We weren’t disappointed - a glass of decent fizz and some exceptional Bacchus, both from Nutbourne set things off nicely. (The not-unreasonably-priced-for-Chelsea Jaffelin Bourgogne we had with the mains was also a hit). The food was generally good - the starters and mains were all well received, though (as other reviewers have mentioned) the portion sizes are disappointingly small at the price points. The mushroom eclairs we had read about seemed a little stodgy, but tasted delightful. My venison main was cooked perfectly and my friend’s mushroom pasta was, by all accounts, wonderful. The Brussels Sprouts side was, it has to be said, incredibly moreish. So, overall, we enjoyed the food, which was flavourful and well executed (if nothing ground-breaking and a little expensive). Thumbs up for the compact but very well chosen wine list too. The service was friendly and just the right level of attentive - our waiter’s enthusiasm was clearly evident.

Nice decor, reasonably good food, priced more for the location and the culinary ability, be prepared to be ‘moved on’ regardless of how much you spend - they are table rotation zealots

Hi, Jules!
Thank you for your feedback.
Regarding table rotation- unfortunately this is how all online booking systems work- you get an allocated time slot depending on the size of the party, which you were made aware of in your booking confirmation as well as when you arrived at the restaurant. As you may have noticed, Rabbit Restaurant is a really small space and during the festive period we unfortunately cannot guarantee that the table will be available for the whole evening, therefore we do have to keep up with the turn times. All of this you were fine with at the beginning of your stay with us, no idea why this had become a problem at the end of your meal.
With best regards
Team Rabbit

Great chef - who actually served us most of the plates himself. Amazing staff and incredible service. I was really impressed with the wine list and the fact so much was available by carafe. I live in East London but I’d be happy to travel back all the way to dine here again.

We loved it! Who knew such a step back in time, warm atmosphere, eclectic mix of decor, beautiful roast, but yet still buzzing, existed on the Kings Road.

We were really looking forward to dinner - the menu looked exciting, different and delicious. Sadly it was a disappointment. None of the food was hot (barely warm) and the dishes all lost their appeal as a result. It was expensive too. It could all have been so much better.

Food is interesting, but portions are tiny and they reuse the same sauces. I had scallop(s) (which came as one) with miso and caviar. And then hake, with... miso and caviar.
