10/10Very relaxed, lovely service and the food was delicous. We took their recommendations and the dishes were unusual but really good. Proper amount of spice! Really lovely neighbourhood restaurant.

2/10After a fantastic previous experience, we booked on The Fork to go there again. The booking was accepted and when we got there we were told that they were trying to call me to say that they had no space. We were tired, hungry and upset with them. There was 1 missed call on my phone from Ragam, 10 minutes before the booking time, which I did not hear because of London traffic.

9.5/10This was our second visit to Ragam and the food was even more delicious than we remembered. We had the masala dosa and spicy prawn masala dosa to start, then the pepper lamb fry, chilli paneer and parippu curry. Everyone was stuffed and happy and we had such a good time we forgot to take pictures before we started demolishing the food. Service was friendly and efficient, and we look forward to coming back again.

9/10A Fitzrovia institution. Great South Indian cooking, efficient service and fair prices. Their KFC (Keralan Fried Chicken) and Erachi Ularthiyathu (a lamb dish) are highly recommended for non-vegetarians. It can get a bit cramped with University of London academics on a Friday night but that itself shows how reliable and popular it is with a loyal clientele.

8.5/10Ragam is a fantastic spot for authentic Keralan cuisine! The fish curry was bursting with rich, tangy flavors, and the prawn biryani was perfectly spiced and aromatic—both were absolute highlights. The only downside was the noise and crowd, but that speaks to its popularity. Definitely worth a visit for the food alone!

10/10I found Ragam on a Top 10 list for Indian restaurants in central London. It’s got a really nice atmosphere - a nice mix of a traditional, cosy Indian restaurant, but with a modern twist. The food was delicious and the service was great. If, like me, you prefer a classic menu to the trendy street food type places, this is a gem. This is now my go to Indian restaurant in town and I’m going back soon. Definitely book your table, as it’s a small restaurant and I doubt they can guarantee walk ins.

6/10We dined at 7pm on a Wednesday, with a reservation. Squashed at table in the corner, with hardly any room between ours and the next table to get out. Restaurant was very full and it was very noisy and difficult to hear. Some of the food was good (especially dhal soup, sag aloo, channa masala) but the prawn dishes were all sauce with little meat and the fish fry was disappointing. The Malbec was undrinkable, we left it in our glasses. The head waiter was very charismatic but the junior found it difficult to understand us. We had to ask several times for tap water to go with our other drinks. Overall, not the relaxing experience we were hoping for.

9.5/10We went to this restaurant with my family including children and the food was absolutely delicious. Staff was very attentive and when we expressed concerns about the spicy option for the children they were proposing to twist the meal to make it less spicy. I highly recommend this place. looks like a family run restaurant not a lot of spaces so booking is preferable. can't wait to go back

8/10You can’t fault the food at Ragam, it’s absolutely amazing. Staff are also lovely but they do rush you, once you get to the end of your food.
