Good restaurant but it’s not a true South Indian one :-) the dishes were good and service was good. Only complaint I have ( this is in general across Europe) is they don’t serve water free! That’s so weird that you need to buy water or ice. In US no matter what water and ice is served in abundance in tall glasses. Paying 4 or 5 euros just for a glass of water is stupidly absurd. Nevertheless if you are near Amsterdam Centraal and need a quick bite not having to walk far, this is a good place.

Very expensive. We had to pay 9(!) euros for an extra portion of rice. The portions were also very small... Which was lucky in the end. I had food poisoning after the visit.

Very good vegetarian food. The food was delicious and served with style. I came here because higher ranked restaurant was about to close at 9-30 pm. But it was an excellent experience. Served with personal touch.

The Rangoli was just right for my husband and me. We enjoyed a late lunch that was served in good time, was delicious and enough to satisfy our appetite. It was fairly quiet and in a pleasant area. We were pleased to see regular customers coming in.

The BEST Indian restaurant I‘ve ever been to! They‘ve got such a huge amount of delicious dishes to choose from & the staff is absolutely amazing and helpful and they try whatever possible to make you feel comfortable!! Went there 2 evenings in a row because YES IT WAS THAT GOOD

Was the worst experience we ever had with a fork network restaurant. We did a booking with yums and before sitting informed the manager that we had booked with yums. To our surprise after meal he refused to honour thhe yums and insisted we pay. He was rude, threatening, and insulted us in the restaurant. He kept us waiting for thirty minutes. Even he was rude to the young girl with us and just did not want to see reason. Finally after we insisted we speak to the owner who was on vaccation did he relent but left a bad taste. Bitter experience and loss of 30 minutes. Our worst experience ever and will advice don't go as many better restaurants in Amsterdam without this untrained pathetic excuse of a managers attitude. Shame on them

The food was very good but the service wasn't very warm and they refused to accept any kind of credit / debit card while the AMEX, VISA & mastercard stickers are on the door.

We tried South Indian dosa and thali for the first time! It was a great introduction! Would love to try again soon.. We had a friendly waiter, helped us through our dinner and adviced us. The interior come more to life at night, in the day it looks kind of outdated.

The restaurant had just one more guest when we arrived. The food was okay. The Naans (Butter naan & Onion naan) were just fine. Additionally, they charge you 6 euros for one water bottle. Felt a little cheated while paying the water bill. We could have gone to a better restaurant close by but we wanted to try a new restaurant. Never going there again.

The food tasted alright but was not fresh. I believe most people that have given it rave reviews are Tourists struggling to find Indian food. The Sambar with the Dosa was far from authentic.
