The food is unlike anything else I’ve ever had in the UK, I hope they last forever. The vibe is just as good too plus the staff are great!

The food was below what I would expect for the cost. We had a sharing platter which was approx £35 a head. When the food came out we looked at each other and said, is that it! I would have expected there to be more for the price. The food was Luke warm.

This was our second visit, and will be our last. We opted to give it a second try after our first visit was blighted by very very slow service but great food. This time though both were disappointing. We got there for 6ish and left after finishing our door at nearly 8, most of that time was waiting - waiting to be served, waiting for plates to be cleared away, waiting for mains. Plus the chicken wing starter were horrendously overdone, think nearly black as opposed to a golden brown. Saw maybe 4 servers max, 1 person behind the bar trying to cope with a 1/2filled restaurant. Not nearly enough staff. The place is also looking tired now, toilet still broken, doors hanging off cupboards. The final nails in the coffin it’s very expensive for what it is, and the automatically applied 10% service charge is a joke considering how awful the service is. So many better places in West Quay and nearby, avoid Red Dog.

The food was really nice and had a unique test that was not obvious and boring. Loved everything we had from drinks to food. The staff was really lovely from coming in till leaving. There was a client who choked and i was so pleased staff was trained and knew what to do which they responded quickly meaning this is how aware and alert they are. The lady was saved and was alright after all. Really was happy about that too.

Very busy place on a Saturday. Service was really good. However sooo busy they ran out of wine glasses so had ours in a tumbler! Food was really nice, the burgers very tasty

We had a great meal at the Red dog saloon Southampton. All 3 of us had various takes on burgers, they were excellent, perfectly cooked. The only down side is the cost of the sides which are a bit steep. The service was good, drinks good as well.

Service is average, the order was taken quickly but food did not all come together. There was no attempt by staff to clear the empty side plates despite the table being very tight for space. They add there own tip which can be removed however in my opinion you have not earned a £20 tip for simply bringing me the food I have paid for

Had a large group and the numbers changed a few times on the lead up, the manager, staff were very accomodating and helpful. Food was excellent and all came out together. Great service on the night also, thanks!

Turned up a little early waited to be greated and went to bar to wait to be seated.... they were busy so seated a little late. This was OK but.... then waited 10 mins to be served. Husband ordered another drink which... only arrived some 20 mins later after we asked for or it. We ordered a starter.... but our mains came first... asked for mains to be taken away and could we have our starter. They did this and said we would have to wait a little longer for our nail as we wanted fresh .... that was OK until half hour after our starter plates were collected we still did not have our main and a table next to us was served not only their drinks but their mains within that 30 min period. Asked for bill so we could pay for what we had and waitress wanted to know what she had done wrong and why we were not willing to pay service charge. This all took another 5 mins and still no sign of our food
