10/10Excellent food and service, in a beautiful setting. We booked a table, which was inside the bar, which was fine but there was a table free in the conservatory with the great views of the river and ferry, so we asked if we could move, which was no problem the table was cleared and set right away. The food was delicious.

10/10Real experience this. A free walk on ride from opposite bank via on of the only remaindering chain ferry’s in the country. A lovely bit of banter with the two operators followed by a gorgeous fish lunch all served with courtesy and pleasantness. We will be back with friends soon we hope.

2/10We didn`t even eat there as when we arrived it was crammed full of walkers. We had a table booked for 12.00 at The Fork, but the lady at the bar didn`t seem to have a record of it and said she would clear a table at the bar. We declined and left and asked her to cancel the booking, but she didn`t even ask for our name! Don`t know where the pictures on the website came from as the place bore no resemblance to them. Ladies toilets blocked.

Thank you for your comments, as you saw the pub was full with walkers which we accommodated as this was a charity event. I offered you table in the bar area which you then said you would go and ask your wife, you came back and said no thank you we will go elsewhere. I am baffled why you gave us a poor review when you have not eaten here. Regards Samantha.

9/10Very busy 1pm Sunday Lunch, glad we booked. Such a quirky decor. Interesting to hear the owner tell the history of the place. Ok roast, lovely carrot cake and ice cream. Back over the Ferry to home.

7.5/10The food was good and certainly as advertised but I felt there was too much for young and inexperienced staff to manage! The staff were great but some experienced leader quality staff (sadly) were amiss. Regardless, what a super campsite complex and certainly will be returning????????

5/10From outside lookd very grim, it nearly put us off going in. No ambience no music at all. Waitress very confusing, said to my hubby, follow me so he did straight into the actual bar... Food a bit hit and miss not great. Belly pork not crispy just rubbery, cider sauce awful.

8/10The staff we welcoming and polite. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot when served, although it seemed to take along time between my husbands starter being cleared away the mains coming out. Generous portion sizes but maybe a little pricey for what it was.

8.5/10The meals were fine, good enough but not exceptional. The atmosphere and was good. A proper pub. Our table had a great view which we appreciated. The strongest feature was the staff, all of whom were personable and service was excellent. The weakest feature was the email confirmation which stated we had the table for an hour only: unrealistic and unwelcoming. This was not the case in the event, but we didn't know this beforehand. We nearly cancelled as we felt it unreasonable and unfair when we planned to be out for the evening.

8.5/10Pleasant staff, food took a while to be served, but the restaurant was very busy, so understandable. Plenty of choices on the menu and the food was fresh, well presented and tasted good. Would definitely return. Booking required.

3.5/10We arrived to find they didn’t have our booking, eventually they found us a table and said they had run out of most of the food ???, we compromised with what was left, only to be dished up unexceptional food, we were so disappointed

10/10Love a pub that still has locals sitting at the bar. This month we took advantage of the window seats and watched the traffic, on the river, in the sunshine. We watched the first swallows skimming the river too. The service was, as usual, welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food was cracking - and very good value - and my ale was perfect. I had a steak and ale pie: delicious and a proper pie!

9/10A lovely spot by the river, perfect for a traveller's lunch. Parsnip and ginger soup delicious and prawn/crab cocktail equally good. A stroll along the path by river made it a very pleasant stop on our journey.

5/10Started off OK. Steak was good sides left a little to be desired. Main issues encountered were a lack of knowledge on the waitresses part (eg about whether they sold wine by the bottle). Also the male waiters were quite surly and not very polite. Then the bill. Where do you get off charging £10.30 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc? I could buy a bottle of better wine for less in a supermarket. In terms of being constructive I would say relook at your prices and then perhaps invest a little more in staff customer service training. Otherwise it was a nice meal. Just a tad overpriced.

10/10Gem of a country pub with a good range of craft ale, cosy ambience, friendly service and very well cooked food at reasonable prices. Well worth the trip - as is the last remaining chain ferry in the UK. If you're heading up from the south, search for Reedham Ferry South Terminal in google maps. There is lots of free parking on both sides of the river

10/10Such a fab little place, staff were really helpful when we arrived and got our van stuck hopefully help will be with us in the morning to get us out. Went for a meal and the food was excellent great bar staff made us feel very welcome. Shower blocks look really clean. Location is stunning. Would definitely recommend this place. No hard standing pitches so can be a little challenging when it’s wet.
