pleasant quiet surrounds. The main course of ribeye steak was delicious. On the thin side but cooked as rare as could be for the size. Small mustard and mayo was brought at request. Well presented and good waiter service. Wine a little on the expensive side for what it was , an average bottle of red. Desert was the orange choc mouse with honey comb which was different and very tasty.

We had booked for the Taster menu for the simple reason that tried it in 2019. We were not disappointed. The presentation and the variety of flavours were superb. Staff were excellent, knowledgeable and attentive when necessary.

I visited on Saturday 25th Jan with friends, for Afternoon tea to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had the most wonderful selection of delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. We loved the game roll and dip-unusual but very tasty. The flavour combination of the sandwiches were spot on. We enjoyed them all, the tuna melt was beautiful. Scones...oh my,..Where to start. They were best we have had in a long, long while. Melt in the mouth, fabulous raspberry conserve and clotted cream! What is there not to like. The petit four, cakes were very nice, but by then we had all eaten so much. The blueberry macaron was too sweet for us, the battenburg was a little heavy, think we were expecting a fluffy sponge. The chocolate mousse cup had gone a little soft but was heavenly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful! I even tried the chocolate tea, much to my friends amusement.

Had a lovely afternoon tea at Fishmore Hall on more than one occasion. The attention to detail is spectacular as are the staff. I would highly recommend anyone to make it their next afternoon tea destination.

Stayed at hotel for one night and dined in the restaurant having the roast pork dinner, which was delicious as was the starter of duck pate and complimentary bread basket. My husband loved his sticky toffee pudding too. Staff professional and very helpful and friendly.

we were met with a warm welcome as soon as we entered the building. We had arrived early but that was not a problem and we were shown to our table at our leisure. The service was efficient and unobtrusive. Our order was taken and the food was served piping hot and delicious. I would recommend the cauliflower soup and pate to start and chicken and belly pork for main courses. A lovely experience to conclude a lovely holiday

We had a fabulous afternoon tea! The sandwiches were imaginative and tasty. But the most outstanding were the scones, so light! Staff were friendly, but professional. Would certainly recommend this place to friends and family.

We opted for the a la carte menu option for our visit to Fishmore Hall's restaurant & were totally blown away by the whole experience. Every aspect of the evening was perfect - pre-dinner drinks, stunningly-presented food choices (plus a variety of amazing inter-course 'tasters' & palette cleansers), liqueurs & coffee - every dish was a visual delight & a taste explosion. The service was was exemplary & the staff couldn't have been more welcoming & knowledgeable. Thank you for a truly memorable evening.

We had dinner here for two nights of our three night stay in the hotel. On both nights the food was excellent and the service attentive. Each course was beautifully presented, with imaginative use of the ingredients, and perfectly cooked. We had the added bonus of an amuse bouche and a pre-dessert. It was hard to pick a favourite but of particular note were the rose veal and the Baked Alaska.
