Asked to get seated further up as it was freezing, only to be told the rest of the tables were booked so we couldn’t move? Despite us booking a week in advance so did not understand that response ... the food wasn’t great, almost cold when I began eating it. The punch mocktail was awful. There was Only one young girl who seemed like she cared and did a good job like she meant it so credit to her. Will not be returning.
Service and staff was excellent. Quality of food was good. Very accommodating!!! Decor is classy and very easy to find. The staff are very helpful and food come on time,
Booked a table for husbands birthday and was not disappointed. I had my 4 month old son with me and the restaurant staff accomedated really well for us by moving a table around. The food exceeded all expectations and presentation was immaculate. I also requested a birthday surprise for my husband which was followed and relayed really well. Thank you to all the staff for making my husbands birthday that little bit more special. Will definitely be a retuning customer
Impressed with the food. Thank you for your service. Great layout and well disciplined in covid measures. Steak was beautiful i have a read a lot of negative reviews but honestly it was a pleasure dining at Ribeye. Keep it up guys we look for to the next one!
Best staff in Manchester! Welcoming and warm. Nice atmosphere and food. As mediterraneans we missed a bit of red wine with our steak dinner, but even so we fully enjoyed our 1st visit!
Lovely restaurant image, food was disappointing after spending 90 I would have expected a higher quality. My partner got the t bone steak which was very tough and had to cut through and chew. Sides were nice and sauce okay however would have preferred to mushrooms to be cut smaller.
My family and I travelled to Manchester to try the steak at Ribeye, what a wasted journey! I ask for a medium steak and I was given a well done steak. The owner asked me to join him under a different lighting to show that the steak was cooked to medium heat but a well done steak is well done no matter the lighting. I asked the chef if the fillet steak was Chilean / Argentinian and he showed me the wrapper - that just said it all!! He thought I questioned his integrity but he couldn’t tell me where the fillet steak came from?! I sent my food back to the kitchen and asked for my bill. The owner was unapologetic and had the nerve to Add on the service charge to the bill. The owner should take feedback on board to improve customer service. The only asset to the restaurant was restaurant manager Kai!! He took the time to listen to me, he was empathetic and served my family with dignity. Thanks Kai!!
The setting was nice.thats the only good thing about this restaurant.food was awfully over priced!there were no sides with stakes and the main meals.food was very bland!no taste at all!i would never recommend to anyone!completely waste of money!very disappointed!
Bread selection came 2 minutes before our mains, my tone steak tasted burnt, meat quality not worth the price. Atmosphere and decoration was nice though.
Not being a huge steak fan this is the second time I have been out specific for steak and I enjoyed it, the young lady who looked after us was really great ????. The food was good as well, we had platter and prawns however the dynamite prawns were very disappointing as they just seemed tossed in some prawn cocktail I expected more for how much they are priced at, apart everything else was good also could do with a bigger desert menu, I went as it was discounted but still not cheap.
When visiting this restaurant you have to take into account the price and the market they're competing with.. the bill for a decent menu will be in the region of £100 - £150 between two people.. for that you have a steak which had a high quality meat but then not cooked in the correctly.. which is a shame as the meat has so much promise. The steak is not cooked on a skillet which is apparent from the first bite.. please save your money and visit other steak houses in Manchester as Ribeye will serve you the same meal you could pay £30-£40 in other steak houses between 2 people. If you are after a high quality steak i would suggest Cona in Bradford.. or if a better steak meal in Manchester visit Rump n Ribs. If you are willing to travel London has an abundance of steak houses which will cost you near enough the same money.
A nice little place with excellent service. We went for my wife’s bday and had our 3 month old son with us. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. The food was ok, it definitely looks better than it tastes. I was disappointed the Angus burger which I went for wasn’t on the menu on the night. The moctails are amazingly tasty went through a couple. All in all I would go back if only to try the Angus burger. Lastly it was nice little gesture by the manager to provide us a complimentary dessert upon hearing it was her bday.
Got the order wrong. Manager tried to blame overcooked steak on "lighting" at the restaurant. In the end it turns out the kitchen were given incorrect orders. Manager needs sacking or an opticians appointment.
the staff were welcoming! Quite pricey & meat was a little hard and chewy. But overall was fine,atmosphere was great and drinks were good too. Had a fab day

An odd restaurant. Food was very good, apart from the appitiser bread, as some slices were turning and a little stale (I think it had been prepared and left our too long?). I'm not a fan of any restaurant that refuses to provide tap water. On top of that the waitress was rude about it. The restaurant premises are alcohol free, which is probably why they bribe you into buying still water. The range of soft drinks and mocktails are good, but still - customers should still be able to obtain tap water. This is the only restaurant in Manchester, actually in the UK, that I have been refused tap water. We sat upstairs, it took along time before our order was taken so service was slow to start, first restaurant I have ever received food before drink. Always had a drinks order taken as we have been seated. Despite asking for tap water we were brought bottle water. Staff need to make customers aware of this when they advise they don't sell alcohol. Apart from the one rude staff waitress the were polite. The atmosphere would have been OK apart from the loud ringing sound that I think came from the kitchen extractor fan/air conditioning. I think downstairs might be the better experience. I couldn't hear the music as it was low. I like the music was low, but on this occasion would have liked it loud to drown out the ringing noise. The food compensated for the poor atmosphere. They had taken some precautions re COVID, hand sanitiser, most staff in masks, screens between tables, but I was very shocked that there were groups of 8 and 10 in the restaurant - definitely not from the same house hold and I'm pretty sure breaking government guidelines?

Starters were good, steak was salty. I was asked by staff if my meal is ok (as they do) and I said my steak was a little salty to which I was told to take a bit of the sauce of the top of it -_- this place was very underwhelming, the service, staff, atmosphere and food were not good. I spent over 100 here and left within 20 mins because I did not eat my mains. Very disappointed with the food and service
