This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants because it’s not your typical flock wallpaper standard Indian fair type restaurants, this is Indian with a twist of sophistication, lovely flavours and excellent service in a very nice setting

Food was very good especially the lamb chops. Some items seems way overpriced like the gunpowder prawns. While they were delicious it seemed ridiculous to pay £21 for 2 shrimp!! We were on a special otherwise it would have been even more expensive. Ambiance was lovely service was a little slow. Short staffed it seemed.

Have been here a few times over the years but this is not the place it used to be. Really disappointed. I stopped going as frequently given did not find it value for money. The food was average, lotus stem chaat we had to return as was soggy and stale and the lamb chops were over cooked. Prawns were pretty good and also Paneer Tikka was decent. The mains Veg handi and black daal was okay as well. The service was terrible though. They kept the wine carafe on table next to me as my ‘small’ table had no space. The lady offered to put my starters on one plate to create space, so not sure of my bother with the presentation? Then the manager took my carafe away (had more than a glass left) as she thought it was not mine! I had to guide her to pick up the empty plates and bring my left over carafe back. Lost it at the end when the manager came with cleaner liquid and started spraying next to me…..obviously time to go and thankfully had booked through Frok 50% offer was the only saving grace!

Simply put, the food. We had the monkfish curry, a vegetarian option and lots of small dishes and all were exceptionally spiced and flavoured. Service was polite if a little bit perfunctory but the restaurant itself, and surrounding area are fab!

Food was nice - fairly authentic, loved the way the biryani was cooked/served. One of our sides brought out almost at the end so disappointing and expensive lassi for what it was (had to add salt pepper ourselves to amend taste!) nice staff and decent interiors

I was there with a party seven. Our experience could not have been better. We asked our waitress to suggest a menu. She was lovely; her suggestions were all delicious. We all felt we would return as soon as possible.

Being Indian myself I have tried many Indian restaurants but the food here was truly excellent. The flavours of all the dishes I had were really good. 10/10 I will definitely be eating here again and will recommend Ritu to friends and family.

This is a superb Indian restaurant. Every dish was delicious. The service as excellent. And the room is very beautiful.
