9/10Loved the music and the service was friendly It's a predominantly Black crowd so you know the food is worthwhile. Only drop of a point from 10 to 9 is on food as it was great but I prefer harder plantain and they forgot to not add scallions to my curry goat

Waiters were a little slow in taking our order, considering it was empty but food came out reasonably fast. The food was nice, but some dishes tasted like the actual meat wasn't marinated, sauce was just added on top. Quite pricey, although we booked via the fork so got a 50 percent discount.

8/10Roger's is tucked away off the beaten track in a row of unassuming little shops on Camden Rd but don't be put off, the restaurant interior is smart and welcoming with lovely artwork on the walls. Staff welcome is genuinely warm and knowledge of the menu is thorough. Service is efficient and not intrusive. Food presentation is delightful although the dish I had (fish platter) wasn't as flavourful as I had hoped but it wouldn't stop me visiting again to try other dishes. I enjoyed the creme brulee (Mango and banana) for dessert. Prices are on the high side... Music was great which added to the wonderful ambience which is stylish and not pretentious. Its intimate with good mood lighting in the evening therefore ideal for a romantic meal as well as large enough to accommodate group gatherings. Recommend!

10/10We were a party of six and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly! I had saltfish fritter and curry goat but plan to return and try everything on the menu. Rogers and the team were attentive and professional. Roger's Kitchen is worth doing out your way for, give it a try!

9/10I have been to Roger's Kitchens several times and each time the food just gets better and better. I had the scallops as a starter, sea bass with cassava and rice & peas as my mains. I was so full I could not manage a dessert but I would have tried the carrot cake with coconut ice-cream (think I will try that the next time I attend).

Thank you for your review. You dined with us on one of our busiest nights of the year which combined with the lateness of some guests made for a very hectic evening. We must concede therefore on your comments regarding the service and ambience. We're also sorry that you felt it was overpriced. We use good quality fresh ingredients and as a dining experience there are various extras such as tablecloths, good quality glassware, etc to be considered. As a small independent business we put our heart and soul into our restaurant and it's a shame when this isn't well received. However if we charged the prices some customers would like, we would go out of business. We make a living, not a fortune. We only wish we could please everyone!

8/10We visited Rodgers on Tuesday to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and overall, it was a good experience. The service was excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. My mum and brother had the jerk chicken, but it didn’t taste like an authentic jerk, which was slightly disappointing. On the other hand, my sister and I had the curry goat, which was delicious, rich, and flavoured. However, the portion of rice served was relatively small compared to the generous amount of curry goat. One standout was the plantain cooked with the skin on. It was incredibly ripe, sweet, and unlike anything else. I had the carrot cake for dessert, which was lovely and a nice way to round off the meal. I would recommend it for the atmosphere and service but with room for improvement on certain dishes.

7.5/10Food was tasty and well presented. Portions for the sides were small considering the price. Was disappointed that the rice n peas wasn't made with basmati rice but overall a good experience. Will return but not as often as I'd like because of the price.

10/10Not my first visit but my favourite thing is that the food is consistently scrumptious 😋 and the staff are polite and attentive. Value for money and great cocktails. Today it was 50% food booked on the fork.co.uk. Simply couldn’t resist that deal .

9.5/10We had a fabulous night celebrating my husband’s birthday at Roger’s Kitchen. The staff were lovely and the food was beautifully presented with all our favourite dishes and more. They even had breadfruit on the menu, the cassava chips were incredible and the rum punch punched 🍹🏝️

10/10The staff at Roger’s Kitchen are so lovely and give a great service. The music is on point by the way team. The food is yummy. Chef Roger, even takes time out to speak to his customers when he can, which is a very nice touch.
